THe good news continues
It is a shame that talent will be replaced by a hillary clone.
This country has moved so far left it is scary.
Media will get what they want with pelosi and reid.
This lead in this race keeps going back and forth, but usually within the margin of error. As with Talent's first election, this will be one of the last Senate races to be called.
And just wait for all of those St. Louis voters to cast their ballots after the polls close. If it worked to elect a dead Democrat in '00, it can work in '06.
What is your opinion of Talent....I haven't paid much attention to him..
Yeah, don't get down in the dumps.
And welcome to Free Republic.
Not necessarily. McCaskill is benefitting from a credible 2004 campaign for Governor, and a number of voters are not pleased with the guy who defeated her.
It could go either way.
No...the Republicannibals will get what they want...and blame you and me.
I get Talent's news letter. He spends entirely too much, but he is always on the right side of the war and 2A. He even voted against the trigger lock ammendment in the lawsuit reform bill! I think Missouri is entirely too conservative and gun loving to vote a Dem in, though. Remember, The Honorable Matt Blunt, a 30 -something ex Navy Officer with very little experience in politics recently whipped Claire's butt. :) Senator Talent should handle her easily, I hope.
He's a pretty solid conservative. Very hard working. Very decent. Quite bright. He takes the time to understand what he's dealing with. He doesn't grandstand. I think he takes his position seriously and tries to do the best he can. All in all, he's a good guy. I'm going to do what I can to help his campaign and if we can keep down the voter fraud, he will win.
Okay...I you find out Talent needs financial help...you need to let us freepers know.
I think it is important that these elections NOT remain local only.
Jim Talent will win by incumbancy.
I will do that, sleuth. I'll keep my eye on the relative fund raising.
Jim Talent is very aptly named and has served with distinction. But he doesn't have a particularly high profile in Missouri.
The polls are rarely right. Don't waste your time worrying about it; just keep working for Talent.
