...Frankly, I think theres a lot to be said for hatred. For one thing, its a very honest emotion. And unlike, say, love, its usually hard-earned and completely deserved. Love, on the other hand, can be as brief and fleeting as a snow flake. Bars and taverns, especially right around closing time, are full of people making declarations of deep and abiding love...

LOL!
Speaking of people and hate, have you ever wondered why the phrase "Go to heaven" never caught on?

AS always, enjoyed your viewpoint. Growing up we weren't allowed to use the H word. Nor the G word, the N word, or the F word. The L word wasn't used either for that matter. Most of my friends seemed to be under the same restrictions. (Although on friend used the L word with great success during our high school days).
The point is, after reading this article I realized that as my language restrictions have loosened so has my emotional control. Somehow voicing strong words strengthens the attitude. I think I've been seeing that as an overall change in our society. Not really a huge insight, just a change for me.
So thanks. As a result of this I've realized that I dont really hate Bill & Hillary. I just dislike them intensly.
By the way, do you think you could work brocalli and Sprouts in your next article? I do Hate them.

Oh yeah. Cilantro is usually pretty much a love or hate thing with a lot of people. I've got a cousin who will spend many minutes picking the cilantro out of anything she is served to eat.
She finally learned to tell the waiter "NO CILANTRO!" She really hates it. Says it tastes like soap.

This guy cracks me up. :)This line of his would make a good tagline.
"I'm afraid that carrying a grudge strikes me as coming dangerously close to constituting manual labor."
