Slobodan Milosevic Found Dead in His Cell
Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader who orchestrated the Balkan wars of the 1990s and was on trial for war crimes, was found dead in his prison cell at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, the U.N. tribunal said Saturday. He was 65.
Fox News said he appeared to have died from natural causes. One reporter mentioned Milosevic had a history of heart problems.

As far as I know the UN figure of 102,000 includes that episode. What is the Red Cross number (they count missing and killed)?

Good question. The trial went on and on, and they could never draw it to a satisfactory conclusion. Satisfactory from their point of view - there was never even a pretence that the accused might be found innocent.
Are you implying that he wasn't guilty of at least some of the charges ?

Are you implying that he wasn't guilty of at least some of the charges ? If they make 50 charges against you, is it reasonable to accept possibility that 100% of them are true? Or should we assume that always some precentage is true?
I think if a few were true the tribunal would focus on them and it would be able to prove them.

The final toll of civilians confirmed massacred by Yugoslav forces in Kosovo is likely to be under 3,000. I doubt that Yugoslav police or army was killing civilians, unless you count KLA members as civilians. But KLA was killing civilians both Serbs and Albanians. Many of the deaths were caused by NATO bombings. The total could be around 3000 indeed.

Can you give me a breakdown of how many people Milosevic is responsible for ethnically cleansing? There were two main cases of ethnic cleansing in former Yugoslavia. First was massacre and expulsion of the Serbian Krayina/Krajina in Croatia and western Bosnia. The second, still ongoing is expulsion and pogroms of Serbs and Gypsies from Kosovo.
Both cases can be verified easily by simple travel to the area or by careful look at the demographics before and after the conflict.
Milosevic is responsible for neither. NATO and Western countries which run the so called International Tribunal in Hague are responsible for both. That is why this tribunal is a sham and so is mass media vilification of Serbs, as both are parts of cover up.

Well, well.
Tests show Milosevic took wrong drugs
Even without reading this it should be blindingly obvisious that he could only take what they gave him in prison.

Serbs will have to accept the responsibility of the death of 200 000 of Bosnian Muslims, 100 000 of Croatians and 200 000 of Muslim Albanians.Since it appears that no actions by the Serbs resulted in anything close to those inflated numbers actually dying, why should they accept responsibility for them?

1) Are you saying that Serbs will be forced to accept responsibility for 500,000 or 90-100,000 or 20-30,000? (which number do you think will be the final number?) Good question. I think that the real number is 20-30,000 (all ethnic groups in comparable numbers) , but the final official number for more "knowledgeable" will be 90-100,000. Serbs will be forced to accept responsibility for 500,000, because this will humiliate them, provide some type of collective lobotomy and will send subliminal intimidating message to other nations.
In 1984 Winston is forced to accept that 2 and 2 is 5 exactly because it is obviously false so his sanity could be broken.
Is most of the responsibility tied to them being accused of starting the wars?.....what percent will they have to accept as "genocide or ethnically cleansing"?
Muslims and to smaller extent Croats are granted official victims status. Serbs are given the villain status (Gypsies are conveniently forgotten).

I don't understand, Milosevic was a Communist. Why do so many people here seem to worship him? I will explain you why people to not count it against him. In Eastern Europe you were not able to make career and to gain experience in normal everyday politics (heroic resistance and spending large part of life in prisons is not regular politics) you HAD to join the Party and "be a Communist".
Even in Poland when there was more non-Communist opposition the people who made free market reforms (like Balcerowicz) were former well placed Communists and people like Polish president who help USA in war against Iraq was Kwasniewski (former high ranking Communist).
Apart from the above the "Communist" tendencies of Milosevic was desire to keep assets in the hands of Yugoslav nations and to preserve mixed system with strong trade unions and workers self-government. Such "Communist" tendencies were not very liked by International Community/corporations.
Personally Milosevic was not more Communist than Clinton, Blair or Buchanan.

Since it appears that no actions by the Serbs resulted in anything close to those inflated numbers actually dying, why should they accept responsibility for them? For the same reason why neighborhood bullies might try to force their victims to assert some absurdities. It is to show their power and to intimidate others.
There is other factor - after Serbs (or their leaders) accept this "responsibility" it will establish the ground for future and perpetual reparations (a good source of income for the pet projects). Also it will seal the conviction in official image in the mind of general public ("Serbs admit it themselves so it must be true")

I though Paddy "Pantsdown" Ashdown had already bribed and bullied a sufficient number of Serb lackeys to admit that they were collectively responsible for every evil act ever done since the beginning of time!
