Nothing further some source from Europe...
Slobodan Milosevic Found Dead in His Cell
Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader who orchestrated the Balkan wars of the 1990s and was on trial for war crimes, was found dead in his prison cell at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, the U.N. tribunal said Saturday. He was 65.
Fox News said he appeared to have died from natural causes. One reporter mentioned Milosevic had a history of heart problems.
"Where's the money?"
Soros
It's a travesty he died in the prison of an International Court. The way he should have gone was getting the Ceausescu treatment from his own people.
Slobbo should have been strung up by his testicles and treated the same way that the Italians treated Mussolini. Most of history's SOB's are cowards at heart. My guess is that Slobby pulled a Herman Goerring.
Yep! Anyway it was good news for all of us that he doesn't exist anymore.
One of the few rational comments to date on this increasingly macabre topic.
There is a reason that language recognizes the term "Balkanization"; there may be no more conflicted, hostile, and self realizing hot spot in the world than....the Balkans.
Of all the national characters in that area only "The Former Yugoslavia" has never taken a shot at the US or UK.
I don't give a rat's haunches if Slobo was communist or a scientologist, the USA sent armed forces into a nonthreatening region to defeat a non hostile state in order to establish a hostile ideology on the borders of NATO.
That hostile ideology is or was allied with the same 'orthidox' Croats who happily supported Hitler in the last european go-round.
Either or any way you try to make it smell better, the US helped to establish a fascist entity, in fact, two fascist entities. The US & Bill clinton isolated and demonized a former buffer state. And, the US has generally stuffed its collective head into a dark place over the consequences.
Even more reason to part ways in a dignified manner instead of large scale butchery. Greeks and Turks have never liked one another, either, but Ataturk pulled a feat of genius. When the Indians and Pakistanis tried to repeat it, they made a messy bloodbath.
Well I see my analysis was plausible but completely erroneous. I apologize for the misinformation.
The Democrats supported Clinton's air war.
The Republican majority Congress in a vote denied Clinton authorization for his war in Kosovo.
good point Fred.
"That you posted a photo of human remains does not prove that Serbs killed "7000 kids and old men in Srebrenica". These remains can be of the Serbs murdered by Mujaheddins or indeed some Mujaheddins killed in a battle.
And Srebrenica "massacre" was a hoax."
Yep, another Clintoon lie to blame the Christian Serbs.
The only reason the Serbs started a campaign against the Bosnians and Muzzies was because the Bosnians and Albanian Muslims etc ATTACKED the Serbs first.
It was a sad day when the Christian countries of NATO took the side of Muslim barbarian invaders who had no right to be in Europe in the first place!
What we should have done was help the Serbs expel the evil Muslims.
You mistake supporting the Serb struggle against a HORRIBLE and EVIL mix of Muslim jihadis and neo-nazi linked nationalists as support for Milosevic.
Now that we are in Iraq fighting insurgents there in a horrible war one can see what the Yugoslav authorities had to deal with.
My opinion = I do think he made a deal and "betrayed" the Krajina and Bosnian Serbs but he was being faced down by the world super power and what else could he do?
But others here don't care if the UN Court is a Kangaroo Court. In fact I find it illumination that all those posting that they are glad the bastard Slobo is dead did not once post in support of the UN Court. Just that they like he is dead and don't care how he died.
I hope WestVirginiaRebel stays afraid - because he has in his tagline (The U.N. is an enabler of all things evil.) and here he is carrying the UN's water. Not smart enough to understand and be chilled by the fact that a man died in a "UN prison" (He is from West Virginia after all - and I should know - I have relatives there).
"1 of 5 (or something) in the Hague."
who are the other 4? I'm just curious since I never knew there were others being held now too.
yep, Clinton, not slabodan, should have been tried for war crimes.
they even bombed Serbian civilian hospitals, homes, etc on Good Friday.
You mistake Slobby's fighting some people who happened to be Muslims (but not all of them were) with him being on "Our side." He was on his own side.
So was the Holocaust, according to some people.
"...they even bombed Serbian civilian hospitals, homes, etc on Good Friday."
I didn't know that. Looks like I'll have to go back, do some more research, thanks.

You mistake me saying Slobo was on our side. Our side was siding with jihadist Muslims and Nazi Croats.
I'm more concerned with Franco. How is he?
