Nothing further some source from Europe...
Slobodan Milosevic Found Dead in His Cell
Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader who orchestrated the Balkan wars of the 1990s and was on trial for war crimes, was found dead in his prison cell at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, the U.N. tribunal said Saturday. He was 65.
Fox News said he appeared to have died from natural causes. One reporter mentioned Milosevic had a history of heart problems.
We should all be ashamed for our role in picking the wrong side in Bosnia and Kosovo.
Milosevic was the first leader that did not back away from head chopping terrorists. Anyone, who would take the time to view 4 years of video of the trial at the Hague, would be convinced how corrupt world organizations, like the EU, UN , and NATO can be. Espesially when aided by our then leaders, the no-core Clintons.
Sympathies to his family, friends and country. A 'great' man that stood his ground despite a world wide sellout to Islamists.
Exactly. He cynically destroyed the most successful former communist country in order to advance himself personally. A nation that could have been peacefully devolved into an economic federation instead lapsed into several localized civil wars, causing the deaths of over 100,000 in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia and setting the region back 40 years.
When the heat was turned up, he stabbed in the back the very Serbs who had supported him by abandoning them.
Plus he destroyed Serbia economically and socially (in addition to what his wars did to Croatia and Bosnia.
What some under-educated folks on FR (who post paeans to Milosevic) do not realize is that he was HATED MORE IN SERBIA than almost anywhere else. And the fact that Slobodan Milosevic only had the interests of ONE person at heart during his entire public career: that of one Slobodan Milosevic. Anyone else was to be manipulated, used, abused, jailed, even killed if he/she got in the way of that ambition.
Troops haven't been there as long as they've been in Germany or South Korea (other places we've made a mess of, you know).
The Serbs were forced by bombs and sanctions, occupation and threat to read what Paddy Ashdown says.
Ocigledno je da ti nisi ziveo 'pod Slobom'. Moja porodica jeste.
By last counting of popularity Milosevic was No4 in Serbia by popularity Democrates in Serbia fear that his death will matryrise him and that conservatives and rightist will possibly winn next elections.
Democratic party in Serbia oficial

Folks seem to forget that last election where Slobo lost and wouldn't accept the results and had to be run out of town.
I moja je.
My family lived under Milosevic, but we didn`t have luck to emigrate after he was overthrown so we are left in mussery of contry runsacked by Islamofascists and EU nazis with Kosovo still ocupied by muslims.
You lucky bastard.

3. His death should of been more painfulShalom Levi - Israel 03/11/2006 16:04
Slobodan Milosevic is no bigger criminal then Ariel Sharon, both behind brutal massacres in Srebrenica and the latter of Sabra and Shatila, i believe milosovic was lucky to die this soon he should of been made to rot and die painfully for his cruel crimes, as we jews know the awful plight of the bosnian muslims experienced in the infamous 'massacres'
No, he was wanting a recount - it was very close - but CIA-backed Otpor stormed the Parliament and burned the ballots and the building in the name of "democracy".
Or the several elections before that one, which he also lost, but won through falsification of balloting results and the calling out of the "Specijalci" (Special Police) to put down the protests in Belgrade.
True. I don't feel like arguing about it today.
You're being sarcastic, right? No one could be so ill-informed as to post what you just posted above.
Comparind Slobodan Milosevic with Ariel Sharon.
He is only sleeping in the Valle de los Caidos. He will return when Spain really needs him. Given the current state of things, that will probably be soon.
Nisam ni ja. Emigrirao sam pre vise od 35 godina.
No, that is true.
Otpor is financed by Sosros and Co.
If I was Milosevic, they would rot in jail for taking Soros money.
I will always remember the photo on the front page of the New York Times of a Serb refugee in his 50s fleeing the Krajina. He was driving a truck with a shattered windshield and was bleeding from his face, while staring straight ahead at the road.
Milosevic gambled and the peoples of three nations lost.
Well, you won't find me defending that traitorous communist Soros. He wanted Slobo to fall for his own reasons.
Last news:
Serbian RTS station said that
"Milosevic two days ago complained that personal in jail is poisoning him"
