We lost another WWII Veteran this week -- from my hometown of Mendon, Ohio:
John Roscoe Hamilton, (b. 6 July 1921)
Served in U.S. Army Air Corps, Italy.
“Serving my country as a volunteer during World War II was a big achievement for me,” she said. “We all had a job to do and stayed with it until it was over -- mission accomplished.”
Job well done, Ladies, job well done. Thank you for your service to our country.
