I don't know what they have in your community, but in my small community there is a Women's Republican Group that meets at a restaurant.

They often give each other rides to the monthly event.

You might want to call headquarters and see if there is anything like that in your area. Given your Blue State status, they would probably be thrilled to have a new member! ; ).

How about doing something by post and very locally even if it is only putting a few leaflets through doors.

Do you have a local council? Do they have Republican candidates or Councilors - sorry not sure how this works in the States. In Britain each largist town has their own district council. For example even out of election cycles the local Lib Dems are always putting leaflets through our door promoting what their councilors are doing. Maybe there is something real local you could get involved with.
