Bettis Misplaces Watch, Bracelet
Police Assist In Search Of Jewels
POSTED: 12:29 pm EST March 10, 2006
Pittsburgh Steelers running back and Detroit native Jerome Bettis may have left his hometown with a Super Bowl ring on his finger but left some other valuables behind.
Bettis said he misplaced his jewelry while practicing at the Silverdome for the Super Bowl.
Missing is a $31,000 Rolex watch and a nine-inch 18-carat gold bracelet with 270 princess-cut diamonds, estimated at about $36,000, Local 4 reported.
Pontiac police said they will do what they can to help Bettis locate the lost jewels.

If I had lost 60K worth of jewelry it wouldn't have taken me this long to start yelping about it. Heck, I wish I had 60K worth of jewelry to misplace!
