Chicago police say as many as 100,000 protestors are gathering outside the Chicago Federal Center to voice their concerns about a house bill that would tighten immigration laws. The massive demonstration has blocked many streets in the Loop.
The border security bill would make it illegal to assist any undocumented immigrant. That measure is drawing the attention of numerous groups and lawmakers on both sides of the issue.
Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Chicago Federal Center to protest the house bill 4437. They believe the bill discriminates against undocumented residents and those who try to help them and it robs them of a chance at the American dream.

"it robs them of a chance at the American dream".
They aren't American citizens. Why do they deserve a chance at the American dream?
This country isn't big enough for the entire world.

Legal citizens better start preparing to respond to things like this.

There was another very large illegals protest in Chicago about 6 months ago.
It was organized by admitted communists.
The Illinois media didn't report it AT ALL!
The only ones who did were the Spanish-speaking press...and a few brave FReepers.
Looks like this one is too big to ignore. Maybe.

Arrest them...this is the one time it will be economical to round them up and send them home. No, noooo, can't do that, they're all living "in the shadows" according to the President. If this is what they do in "the shadows", I hate to think what they'll do when they have a new identity and are legal under "It's not amnesty".
Did you get a look at all those Mexican flags?

"...as many as 100,000 protestors are gathering outside the Chicago Federal Center to voice their concerns about a house bill that would tighten immigration laws."Just a tiny fraction of the illegal alien scum that the federal government is responsible for letting slither across our border.
Screw the protesters. This is our country and Americans will do what they damn well want to do in regulating immigration. Perhaps a complete halt on legal immigration for, say, six months, will help focus their tiny brains.

Remember folks, this is a southwest border issue. Move along... nothing to see here.Must be the Californians fault. Can you just imagine what the foreign press will say. Mexico - Viva La Raza!
France - And they call us dumb!
Austrailia - Listen up, mates, it's car burnings next!
Wow.

Interesting development. Well the first thing I thought was this gives the Senate weasels some support, and an excuse to follow through on their grotesque Mega-Amnesty. But they must also be scared how the majority of Americans will view all those foreign Mexican flags in our city!
I don't think this will effect the House support for the recent excellent immigration bill at all.
Interesting. At least there's no room for nuance anymore. Now it's illegals VS citizens. To quote our Dear Leader (who could put the military on the border in the next five minutes if he chose to) "You're either with us, or against us."

Where else in the world would people having broken a nation's laws be so bold as to shove their presence out front and center? And they did it all smack in front of Federal Plaza!

I have to work today or I would have rented a green panel van and had a sign that said: "ICE" on both sides.
Then I would have just stood around wearing dark glasses and taking pictures.
That would've been fun.

I don't think my great-grandparents would recognize the country they foughts so hard for You are so on the money! They just don't get there is a process and becoming an "American" citizen is an Honor and they insult it with their race card crap!
All four of my grandparents immigrated here and it took them years to become citizens, the first thing my maternal grandmother told her husband was-
" Your in America now I will not speak Polish to you! If you want a conversation I'll only answer to English"

Apparently they're not concerned with that.
I did post that and the Reuters remarks in answer to your question about whether it was exaggerated. I'll bet it is.

If that many people are against that bill, it can't be all bad, can it? :-)
