What if...What if...What if...Barack Obama will never, ever, under any circumstances, be elected to the POTUS.
Never.
And yes, bigotry and racism will play a big part in that.
On both sides.
But I also feel safe in saying that if he were white, he still would never be elected.
The "demographics" completely destroy him, in any comparison on a national basis.

What if Obama is engaged in pious fraud? This is a Muslim practice of
pretending not to be Muslim to further the cause of Islam or to
"defend the faith".
I don't know if this fall under the techinal term "taqiya",
but there's another aspect to this.
IIRC, a Muslim apostate is under a sentence of death (fatwa) for deserting
the faith.
So, if Obama isn't constantly looking over his shoulder for assassins,
my naive guess is that he's operating for Islam, while posing as
a well-educated, pious Christian for political purposes.

While I can't see him elected as POTUS, he might get the VP nod. Bayh and Warner are electable-let's say they put Obama on the ticket, they win, and then there's an "accident".
