Seriously speaking, the problem is that drug cookers come in and purchase large quantities of Sudaphed, Nyquil, etc.
Generally speaking, it has been proven that dope money can and does fund some terrorists.

Sale of Canadian military uniforms on internet sparks investigation

The military is investigating how clothing and equipment that's issued only to Canadian soldiers is ending up for sale on the internet.
The sale is also raising concerns about the security of Canadian troops.
"Someone might represent themselves as a Canadian soldier, being in perfect uniform and gear, until they get close enough to set off a suicide bomb," he said.
Each piece of the uniform is distinct, with its own serial number. And it's not supposed to be worn by anyone other than a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
It's illegal for civilians to own or wear the camouflage CADPAT clothing, and it's illegal for soldiers to sell it.
But a search on the web turns up all the makings of a military uniform: gloves, combat helmets, specialized sniper jackets, and a harness meant for the country's elite commandos, the JTF2. That harness sold online last week for $1,200 US – before it was even issued to the soldiers.
For just a few hundred dollars it's possible to buy a complete CADPAT uniform with name badge and rank insignia, making the person wearing it indistinguishable from a real Canadian soldier.
CBC News asked the Armed Forces about the illegal sale of gear, and it sparked an immediate investigation by military police.
"We'll be looking at all aspects right through and including the supply chain," said Capt. Mark Giles, with the military's National Investigation Service.
The military investigators believe many of the items sold on online may have been stolen by soldiers or civilians working in the supply chain. The big worry, however, is who is buying the uniforms and why.
"It could mean that a potential attack is coming with insurgents who are disguising themselves as Canadian soldiers," said Thompson.
The military said the investigation will concentrate in Canada. If necessary, it will look beyond the borders to find out who is stealing, selling and buying the uniforms and gear.

Two men crash into barrier racing past air base entrance

TUCSON, Ariz.
Two men in a pickup truck were critically injured Tuesday slamming into a metal traffic barrier at a secondary entrance gate onto Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in an apparent attempt to run the checkpoint, authorities said.
Air Force and Tucson police investigators were attempting to determine the intent of the two men, whose identities were not immediately released.
Both men were taken to a local hospital with facial and head injuries.
"At this time we have no indication that this incident is tied to international terrorism," said Sgt. Mark Robinson, a police spokesman.
Col. Michael Isherwood, vice commander of the 355th Wing at Davis-Monthan, also said he had no idea why the men tried to race past the gate, ignoring a guard who had raised his hand signaling that they stop.
When they ignored the command, security personnel raised a metal vehicle barrier from a roadway recess and the barrier was raised far enough away to allow the driver to stop before striking it, Isherwood said.(snip)

Zarqawi, Others Indicted in Jordan Hotel Attacks
AMMAN, Jordan — Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and seven other people were indicted Tuesday in Jordan's worst-ever terror bombing, the near-simultaneous attacks at three Amman hotels in November.
Among those indicted by Jordan's military prosecutor was Sajida Mubarak al-Rishawi, a woman who was meant to be one of four Iraqi bombers but fled when her explosives belt failed to detonate.

Administration to release prewar Iraq documents
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Bush administration on Monday said it was preparing to release prewar Iraqi government material from a trove of documents and tape-recordings captured after the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.
The office of U.S. intelligence chief John Negroponte decided in recent days to fund a review and release process for an estimated 48,000 boxes of documents and hundreds of recorded conversations, including many involving Saddam Hussein himself, officials said.

The AFB incident is very interesting. I already have quite a few questions. Nothing, of course, can be ruled in or out at this time, but I do expect some clever and very funny explanations. If there is a second similar incident, then the whole picture changes quickly.
