Re #2800
Good find. Thanks for posting that Cindy. It tells us what we should already know. This will be a very long and deadly struggle. If we wish to keep our way of life, more blood must be spilled. Hopefully, most (if not all) will be terrorist blood.
Thank you AD.
I thought the article was pretty direct.

Fire destroys factory, 400,000 pairs of shoes
Bangkok Post ^ | Sunday April 02, 2006 | By Sunthorn Pongpao
Posted on 04/01/2006 1:19:29 PM PST by JimSEA
A shoe factory producing the world famous Ecco brand footwear was hit by a fire early yesterday. The fire destroyed one of the factory buildings and 400,000 pairs of the high-quality shoes, and caused the Denmark-based company a loss of more than a billion baht.
The fire brigade took four hours to extinguish the blaze, which broke out around 5.30am yesterday.
Around 30 workers were working in the factory when the fire broke out, but there were no reports of injuries.
However, the fire completely destroyed one of the company's five factories in Nakhon Luang district. Damage was estimated at nearly 1,200 million baht.
Chamnan Suksabai, a worker, told the police he could smell something burning from the shoe storage section when he was walking out of the factory. The fire quickly spread to other areas and finally brought down the whole building.
''We've interrogated 10 witnesses, most of them factory staff and security guards, but they gave unclear accounts of the accident,'' said Ayutthaya police chief Pol-Maj Gen Warawut Pukprayul. The company has temporarily shut down all its plants to facilitate the investigation

Swiss Company, Individual Designated by
Treasury for Supporting North Korean WMD
Proliferation
The U.S. Department of the Treasury today added a Swiss company and individual to its list of designees supporting the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Kohas AG and Jakob Steiger were designated pursuant to Executive Order 13382, an authority aimed at freezing the assets of WMD proliferators and their supporters.
"North Korea's efforts to build and sell weapons of mass destruction depend on a vast network, the reach of which extends beyond Asia," said Stuart Levey, Treasury's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI). "The Treasury will continue to track and combat this network aggressively to exclude North Korea's illicit activity from the financial system."
Kohas AG is an industrial supply wholesaler located in Switzerland that is named today for its ties to Korea Ryonbong General Corporation, which was designated by President Bush in the annex of E.O. 13382 on June 29, 2005. Nearly half of Kohas AG's shares are owned by a subsidiary of Korea Ryonbong General Corporation known as Korea Ryongwang Trading Corporation, which was previously designated by the Treasury on October 21, 2005. Jakob Steiger, a Swiss national, is the president of Kohas AG and owns the remainder of the company's shares.
Kohas AG acts as a technology broker in Europe for the North Korean military and has procured goods with weapons-related applications. Kohas AG and Jakob Steiger have been involved in activities of proliferation concern on behalf of North Korea since the company's founding in the late 1980s.
Today's action prohibits transactions between the designees and any U.S. person and freezes any assets the designees may have under U.S. jurisdiction.
Background on Executive Order 13382
Today's action builds on President Bush's issuance of E.O. 13382 on June 29, 2005. Recognizing the need for additional tools to combat the proliferation of WMD, the President signed the E.O. authorizing the imposition of strong financial sanctions against not only WMD proliferators, but also entities and individuals providing support or services to them. The E.O. carried with it an annex that designated eight entities operating in North Korea, Iran, and Syria for their support of WMD proliferation. The President at that time also authorized the Secretaries of Treasury and State to designate additional entities and individuals.
Since the issuance of E.O. 13382, the Treasury has designated an additional 10 individuals and entities tied to North Korea proliferation and two Iranian entities facilitating proliferation.
The designations announced today are part of the ongoing interagency effort by the United States Government to combat WMD trafficking by blocking the property of entities and individuals that engage in proliferation activities and their support networks.
I saw a small snippet of news today from NYC showing the protestors. Funny how they all had these fancy printed signs and stuff. Someone is funding them.
Everyday more is revealed just who those groups/individuals are, thats why with them tying into the Arab community, we are far outnumbered!
They have the 'audacity' to compare it to the civil rights movement...well that will put African Americans on our side because this is not even remotely anything like that, as those of us who lived through the 60's know!
Crap, they aren't being denied any civil rights for they are not even US Civlians!
Snip: We have a union called the United States. I just wonder if membership therein means anything anymore. Of course, theres always cheap lettuce.
Terrorist Ping!
The President is doing it because he is a globalist and does not believe in secure borders.
Sad that the globalists have put such a low price on the lives of your sons and daughters, your wives and sisters, my beautiful grand-daughter.
How dare they.

Story by wsbtv.com
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "After first calling, then canceling a morning news conference, Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) has now called a news conference for this afternoon.
She is expected to address accusations that she slapped a Capitol Hill police officer on Wednesday.
Capitol Hill police plan to issue an arrest warrant for McKinney in connection with that incident."
Leave it to the youth in AJ to set the proper example. Shame on those adults in charge who've attemped to stifle student pride in America.
If Americans are charged in these incidents, it may factor in that they have homes and jobs and pay taxes and can pay fines and bail money. Illegals on the other hand.......

"Reports Warn Attack in Indonesia Possible"
Apr 1st - 9:33am
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) -
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A letter sent to U.S. citizens by the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta said "terrorists continue to plan attacks against westerners and western interests in Indonesia.
The letter, sent Friday, went on to say that "recent reports suggest that Sunday April 2, 2006, could be one potential date for an attack." It said locations frequented by foreigners and people "identifiably American" were likely targets, though it provided no specifics.
Indonesia has seen several terrorist attacks in recent years blamed on the Al-Qaida-linked Islamic extremist group Jemaah Islamiyah. The group was implicated in two strikes on the resort island of Bali that killed more than 220 people, including 88 Australian tourists, and the 2003 car bombing of the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Jakarta."
ARTICLE SNIPPET#2: "That date is the first anniversary of a helicopter crash that killed nine Australian military personnel who were flying a medical relief mission to the Indonesian island of Nias days after a major earthquake."
