I met with the doctor to get my test results.
I was surprised to learn that the tumor that had been on my liver had been removed entirely when the surgeon took the biopsy! I no longer have a tumor on my liver!!
Most of the tests came back normal, except for one. My serotonin level is extremely high (34 times the normal level), which the doctor said indicates that there is still carcenoid in my body.
I'm scheduled for a test a week from Monday in which I will swallow a pill which contains a camera.
Please pray that they will be able to find the remaining cancer and be able to cut it out, and that I will be completely healed.
The doctor's demeanor as he entered the room was downright bubbly. He stopped short of characterizing the test results as "good news," but I walked out of there with a much better prognosis than I believed I had when I walked in.
The doctor also stressed that mine is a very slow growing form of cancer, which is another piece of good news.
I believe that God has begun my healing and it will be complete. The doctor told me that when my serotonin level gets back to 10 or below, I will be considered cancer free. I believe that will happen.
