HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH...aiiigghhhhhtttt.
How would Iran acheive air superiority in any major conflict? THEY WOULDNT
How would they be able to achieve operational surprise in any major land battle? THEY WOULDN't
How would they be able to wage force/counter force combat? THEY WOULDN't
all they could do is fight an asymmetrical war after we had conquered their pathetic little country. Killed their loonie tune leaders and allowed thier populace to convert to christianity if they so choosed.
IRANIAN IDIOTS brought to you by Jimmah Catah.

Try us, Rafasanjani. We will have Tehran, and all of your Persian lovelies will belong to us. The oil will still belong to the people and democracy as Mossadeq* wanted it will return to Iran.
*Thank the Brits for overthrowing what could have been a Democratic U.S. ally.

Defeated?
Heck, we have plenty of brave men in high places, like John Murtha, John Kerry, Teddy Kennedy, Bill Klinton, Jimmy Karter, Harry Reid, etc.
Oh wait, yes, we can be defeated with this crew, in fact, they beat us once, when that great Commander in Chief, Jimmy Karter was in office.

"He said that the U.S. had been defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan"
I realize we make jokes about the mirages in the deserts of Arab lands, but the same applies to the good folks in Persia. They live in a world of illusions in many ways, sort of 800BC.
Todays ITM has a really great writeup by Omar, as you probably have already discovered. Very interesting and revealing coming from an Iraq on the scene. Of course without appearing smug I guess we could have written quite similiar expose. But never the less IMHO, an accurate portrail of current situation.

The sooner the better for these maggots. They are playing our anti-American, socialist, pro-Islamic liberals against our American conservatives. They know this country is divided, and they are getting every inch of press out of it they can. Hopefully it will all backfire on them.

Its pretty good that we can figure out what is likely going on behind the scenes even before rumors start leaking.
As a matter of facts, there are rumors leaking from political salons about the Kurds discussing plans with the Sunni and secular blocs to make Allawi the new PM after voting down the candidate(s) of the UIA.
