"Nearly five years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, our borders remain porous. The deportation system remains broken. The government's tracking systems for criminal illegal aliens and visa overstayers remain incomplete. So, what's Washington's latest homeland security solution?"

" 'Gold Cards' for illegal aliens."

"I kid you not."

Amnesty-pushers argue that the Gold Card plan for illegal aliens is the only way to "deal with reality" and that immediate mass deportation is "not practical."

No need for mass roundups/deportations. Just cut off their taxpayer freebes, heavily fine employers who hire them, and then watch them self-deport.

I'd like to give 'em all Gold Cards alright. ....to Specter's personal bank account.

Words fail me. And I'd better not say what I'm thinking, or I'll have a *problem* which I really don't want to deal with.

Fricking liberal scumbag.

It is far easier to be an illegal immigrant in the United States than to be a legal one.

The way the FAIR website describes this bill, the Sphinctor Gold Card Shamnesty is being heavily promoted by the White House and has become the defacto Bush guestworker plan. Now we finally get to look at it in legislative form in all its detailed glory.

So now I guess we know what Bush meant when he said all those times that he did not support amnesty. He meant that allowing the illegals to stay with citizenship-lite legal status indefinitely without even a token penalty for their many crimes was not an amnesty. During his SOTU speech President Bush jokingly described Bill Clinton as his brother. I am now starting to believe that there is some actual genetic kinship. The two make a pair! If this isn't amnesty then oral sex isn't sex either! Just another lying sos!

Can you imagine calling this thing a "Gold Card"? Beyond being vehemently against it, I am once again stunned by the tone deafness of this White House. Saying you are going to give Gold Cards to illegals does nothing but make people angry.

Thats Anal Sphincter to you........... Of course its an amnesty plan. These folks obviously do not give a flying flock about their constituency. If this is the WH plan as well, I give up.

There, fixed it.

Indeed.

Lets respond with the Senatorial Freedom Act, limiting terms of Senators to two terms.

Bush is as big a culprit as anyone on this. First, he blind to the issue of illegal immigration because he's pandering for votes. Secondly, he strongly supported Specter during the Republican primaries against conservative opposition.

One of the big reasons Bush is losing popularity is because his conservative base is sick of his crap.

That should be the next conservative republican presidential candidate's campaign slogan.
