Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's gguests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

The Majority Leader Representative John Boehner - - the new House Majority Leader - - will tell Tony the challenges he faces leading House Representatives ahead of the November elections.

True Conservative Values? Edward Feulner - - the President of the Heritage Foundation, one of Washington’s premier conservative think tanks - - will join Tony in the studio to discuss his new book: Getting America Right: The True Conservative Values Our Nation Needs Today.

Ports, Ports, Everywhere Majority Leader Boehner says he wants the ports story to “go away.” It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, expecially in light of a Republican bill looking to blow the deal up. Tony has the latest.

You can find out more information about the line-up, stream Tony's show, find local radio stations as well as other fun stuff off his website.

And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Good morning, ya'll. I hope the topics for today are actually the topics for today. I had a pretty red face yesterday with one out of three.

Will the Majority Leader Representative John Boehner demand an investigation into what the Clintons are up to in this port deal?

Do we not need a special prosecutor to see how a sitting senator can reap rewards over government contracts via her foreign agent husband????

A Living Hope

Read:
1 Peter 1:3-9

Blessed be [God] . . . who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope. —1 Peter 1:3

Bible In One Year: Deuteronomy 5-7; Mark 11:1-18

cover Life is hard for everybody, but it's much harder for some than for others. Putting our trust in Christ as our Savior does little to change that. Nothing in the Bible promises us a free pass merely because we are Christ's followers. In fact, some of our wounds may not heal and some of our deficiencies may not be corrected during our lifetime. They may even get worse. Yet our deformities and weaknesses are only temporary.

Anticipating what God has in store for us can put a smile in our heart. Hope gives us poise and lets us live with inner strength, because we know that one day we will be dramatically different than we are now.

If you are in some way damaged by past abuse or feeling defeated by sin, or if you feel so inferior to others that you walk with your eyes to the ground, take heart in what God has in store for you. Live today with the courage God gives you. Make what you can of your afflictions. But rejoice, because all that degrades and limits you is only temporary. It will be gone—some of it sooner rather than later.

If you have a living hope in Christ, you can deal with your past because of your future. God's glorious best for you lies ahead. —Haddon Robinson

Lord, give us grace to trust You when
Life's burdens seem too much to bear;
Dispel the darkness with new hope
And help us rise above despair. —Sper

Christians can cope with their past because they have hope for the future.

The Clintons are a criminal enterprise, yet they are untouchable. I don't know why it is so, only that it is.

They are not untouchable, seems there is NOBODY with the mind and spine to even question their appearances of criminal acts, yet these same ones are willing to politically speaking, behead President Bush for a principled decision.

Good morning. I agree about the 2 who are iffy but would put Kellie higher on the list. Mandissa really rocks.

Good morning. Thanks for the ping. I missed all the chats, yesterday.

Check out this video. It's from CBS Evening News. Quite interesting and troublesome.

It seems the reports of DeLays political death have been greatly exaggerated.
