New York Times About To Reveal Even More Top Secret Operational Data! Big Benefit To Terrorists
Sources in New York and drudge ^ | MB26

Breaking – Proven reliable sources tell me that in tomorrow morning's edition of the NYT, the leftist paper will reveal that DOD has embedded military rapid reaction teams at a number of US embassies abroad.

The Times is again giving our enemies hard intel they need to be more effective on the worldwide terrorism battlefield.

The concept was very simple; When we got intel that known terrs were operating in a specific area, the US team already in place would be able to snatch them quickly. Because the team is already there, entry problems would be eliminated and reaction time would be much faster. Terrs know how long it takes to get a Delta/SEAL/Snakeeater team out of US or forward area bases and into operational areas, so they know how long they can stay in an area themselves.

Under the new "pre-placement" plan, the reaction time was reduced from days to minutes.

I don't have full details yet, but sources believe not all countries where "pre-placed" teams are located knew they were there. In fact, majority of countries probably did not know small teams of our troops were ready to operate on their ground. Is assumed there were there under civilian cover or perhaps listed as part of the USMC security detachment.

The idea was simple. The snatches would be quick and quiet. Terrs would be removed to other country, possibly Guantanimo, often using business jets borrowed from legitimate US companies, and no one would ever know how or why they disappeared.

Now, thanks to NYT, all is blown!

Thanks. Some stories just make me smile.

Actually, the Times story does too... I'm glad we're doing it, I just didn't want to read about it on page one of the Times.

"If there weren't any knee-jerk, misinformed and uninformed reactions, it wouldn't be FR."

You can say that again. Mindbender is always a good source for what is going on inside the old media. There is nothing wrong with him giving FR a scoop on what the NYT's has already committed to print.

I know, I sort of asked for it. But again...sticking to this subject and ignoring the immigration fiasco, the spending nightmare, and several other topics that we can slam GWB for--who's to say this isn't a plan to catch the leaker and shut him/her up?

Acknowledging it isn't the requisite knee jerk reaction, maybe this will play out to America's advantage.

Can we expect that the newspapers and leftists in Europe will call for a European Union investigation of American "death squads" being concealed in US Embassys?

but of course - that ought to keep the investigation into the leaks - and who is 'leaky' - off the headlines - modus operandi

Get a life....publishing CLASSIFIED and SECRET info, is TREASON; even "IF" it doesn't change things and you don't know if it will!

Re #137 - Negative on the "Abuse" button, Mate.

Far be it from me to go doing that, as since my last banning I've probably posted even more horrendously bloodthirsty opinions than the one that got me Zotted, yet miraculously gotten away with 'em! }B^{D~

(Well; so far, that is...)

About the only thing that will tempt me to do that is when some troll is obviously in here with the intention of picking a ruckus with anyone that will fall for it and taking the whole discussion down with it - as most of us have seen happen on occasion here.

Fortunately the Mods stay on top of things pretty well, and we seldom have to pull the flame alarm these days.

I noticed that the "Oasis" dried up pretty quickly, didn't it?

And frankly, I hope that you're right about the CIA and FBI finally being "on it" - but I have to wonder how many of our bravest and best - or perhaps our innocent Citizens - will have to suffer or be lost because of these intel leaks while the bureaucracy "grinds".

hmmm...okay good point. This will be THE story, regardless of how it turns out the rest of the world will believe the initial reporting, as will the NYT, LAT, etc and they will remind us continuously of how "Bush sent death squads into innocent countries".

Balls!

In Paraguay a year and a half ago, members of one of the first of these "Military Liaison Elements" to be deployed were pulled out of the country after killing a robber armed with a pistol and a club who attacked them as they stepped out of a taxi, officials said.

Oooh, bad choice of robbery targets.

The very thought just makes you all gooey inside, doesn't it.

He's pushing 70% now with 25% of precincts reporting, beating Campbell 3 to 1.It's not even close.

All we've been told by the lame stream media was how "battered" DeLay would be and how Campbell could pull off an upset.

To hell with all the polls, President Bush probably has an approval rating in the 50's.LOL.

Oh,and BTW, hang everybody at the NYT. :)

Lee H. Hamilton, who served as vice chairman of the national commission on the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, said that conflict between the C.I.A. and the Defense Department over paramilitary operations has occurred periodically for decades, and that the 9/11 commission had recommended that the Defense Department be given the lead responsibility for such activity.

One of the few sensible things that the commission came up with. Let the military break things and kill people. Let the spooks do the spying. Seems like the proper assignments to me.

There is NOTHING more important than our WOT; NOTHING !

This doesn't smell like a "sting"; rather is stinks to high heaven of the shadow government, out to get the president, at every turn; especially emanating from the CIA.

It is big stuff - but the MSM and their hitched at the hip buds on The Hill don't need it to be - they will MAKE IT BE -

we will see a lot of smoke screens in the near future in an attempt to pull attention away from the investigation into the leaks - count on it
