The Iraqis have been saying this for quite some time now.

Iranian meddling in Iraqi affairs "is something they will look back on as being an error in judgment." As Muslims they believe they are superior to the eighty percent of the world who are infidels. Miscalculation and arrogance, as was demonstrated by Saddam Hussein, seems to be part of the Islamic Psyche.

I have no idea why we allow this to continue. The point needs to be made that if Iranians are killing Iraqis and Americans a few well placed bombs on military sites in Iran is going to be the consequence.

When the list of offenses is compiled and published, this infiltration will be near the top. While technically a separate Declaration of War is not required, a state of war existing since the US Embassy was overrun, it might be advisable to make a formal Declaration of War just to quiet the skeptics.

"....members of the Iranian military have been slipping into Iraq to make trouble."
So what happens when a unit of Iranian army regulars meets up with a US Army unit?
If they engage our troops would that be an act of war?

Rumsfeld says, "I doubt members of the Revolutionary Guard move around willy-nilly." Damn I love that man! How many people can actually pull of using "willy-nilly" while talking about the Iranian army!

Rumsfeld did issue this warning -- he says Iranian meddling in Iraqi affairs "is something they will look back on as being an error in judgment." Understated, yet succinct.

The statement from Rumsfeld is a ten on the "DUH" scale.
Methinks it's time for payback, and not just for our embassy and hostages.
No, this dish should be served cold, very cold.
