Whose to say Iraq and Iran wont be for us.

Its not over yet and we are no where near a stable Iraq, I wont say it cant happen but we have some distance to go and a lot can happen before then.
As a plus we don't border Iraq or Iran, and we also have things like unmanned drones that releive preassure on troops. We also don't have mafia working within our own army to give weapons to the enemy.
What happens within Iraq now may end up being immaterial to what could be be unfolding soon, at least conspiratorially speaking. Bush et. al. have proven they can take the best punches the Left can muster. As of yet, no impeachment proceedings. Logistically, the US and Coalition forces now have all the military support bases they need to take the entire middle east, militarily speaking. Handling the desert trash may of course be yet another story.
The question is will we go on the offensive before or after the first terrorist WMD attack ?
