Well, from what I have seen in Miami and NYC, most white Latinos tend to be disproportionately represented in the professions and in business. Many are themselves or are the children of the affluent classes of Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.
Put a wealthy Venezuelan in a room with upper class white Americans and a group of Nuyoricans and Dominicanyorks, and you will see that they will associate with the former.
Right, sure. For now those people are a rounding error in the statistics, kind of like the Hispanics who check off "black", so they're going to fall in between the cracks everywhere but Florida.
