Durbin, Rockefeller and Wyden received criminal referrals today...leak probe
Fox News
Posted on 03/06/2006 7:13:06 PM PST by 212351st
I have been waiting for more information on what I thought I heard this afternoon on Fox News. What I heard was Durbin, Rockefeller and Wyden had criminal referrals and were being asked to submit to lie detector tests. This was tied to the leak investigation.
I don't post too often and I might be suffering from excess radon consumption.....and hallucinating.????
Help me out..... anyone else out there hear the same thing I did???

You, Grampa Dave, are so very right.
It certainly makes me wonder what oaths they took and what oaths mean these days. I know when I took mine back in '69, it was more than serious!

I don't know about Rock, but Durbin should be in jail.

Durbin, Rockefeller, and Wyden? The polygraph machines will be pegging out before the three even get out of the limo, let alone get into the building to get hooked up.
In fact, all polygraph machines in the DC area have to be calibrated to ignore residual background noise of deceit emanating generally from the Democratic caucus. And when Bill and Hillary are both in town at the same time? Forget about it. It's like a liars' Chernobyl. The machines are so stressed they're completely useless.

Is that the "Trustworthy, brave, clean , thrifty and irreverent" one?

I guess time will tell. News no longer can be keeped quite with all the leakers. The L/MSM must be wondering how to do crowd control on this one.

ASA VET was the first to do the "irreverent" oath.

It's just the result of an innate natural ability and the tutoring of Masters (& Johnson.)
Advanced OJT in Bangkok for 3 years enhanced that talent to the provert level.

Actually I believe it was a required MOS suffix for those assigned to ASA.

There is no way a Dem politico can fail a lie-detector test. They have years of demonstrated expertise in lying or they wouldn't be in office.
You are SO right, kitty! They all subscribe to the "George Costanza Theory" -- "It's only a lie if you think it is a lie."

I'm looking forward to the day that Rocky and his two cohorts are backed into a corner about the polygraph's. It will be a learning experience to see what their reactions and excuses are and whether they'll submit to them at all. I think all 3 are in max squirm mode right now.

I worked the polls that day and did not see Brit that night. What did he do? Thanks

"I worked the polls that day and did not see Brit that night. What did he do? Thanks"
Michael Barone (sp) was the only voice on Fox News that evening and into the night that had not bought into the ideal (faux polling early, for the intent to sway the rest of the country, imo) that JFKerry was the winner.
I started off that evening wondering if it was going to be the 2000 election all over again.
Brit was nowhere near the gleeful Bill Kristol, but he was not distancing himself into a neutral wait and counts the actual votes mind, like Barone was.

This is why Rockefeller is all of a sudden introducing legislation to ban secrets in the Federal government Where did you hear this? If it were to occur might as well close down DoD, DOJ, and CIA and let everyone qualified just retire. We will never again resist an invasion or fight back on anything. The mobs will rule.
