Sorry to post to you twice back-to-back, but I found this and thought you might be interested:

"And have been since November 4, 1979."
Time to pay them back....with interest!
The Iranian bombs are being stopped at the Iraqi-Iran border. We are talking about a country deliberatly providing aid to our enemy. That makes us, technically, at war with them.
Nope.
No, but shouting at us isn't going to solve the situation.
Rock N' Roll! Call it Operation Hulegu.
In due time. If we do it now.... We will lose Iraq and Iran all together. Not only will the Sunni be fighting us, but all Shiite will then be called to arms in Iraq, since Iran is the Shiite Holy place and financers for the extreme Shiites against the Sunni.
The US could simply pay Iran back in kind by training and supplying Kurdish agents to blow up Iranian military and nuclear facilities.
Nope. Unlike us, within their death cult they would happily die as long as they can take us with them.
Now, THAT... I like....lol
Yes the President could and should go on national tv to explain the Iranian threat but he should not issue an ultimatum. Ultimata only put us in a box.
The further discussion states that the Polish government accepted that these missiles were pre-1990. Who knows whether that was true.
Its also possible that much equipment was supplied via third parties, cut-outs, and "illegally" from third-country stocks. The US did in fact supply Iran with missiles and spare parts in the 1980's that way. It kept the Iranian airforce viable.
It is very difficult to prove that a government is doing this sort of thing deliberately.
"The Iranian bombs are being stopped at the Iraqi-Iran border. We are talking about a country deliberatly providing aid to our enemy. That makes us, technically, at war with them."
That's not news. The big news is that:
IRAN IS AT WAR AGAINST IRAQ!
Why not simply go before an open session of Congress and ask for a direct declaration of war on Iran? Merely show the evidence and put all the burden on Congress. That's what our Constitution provides anyway.
What Congressman wants to go back home and explain why he or she is condoning the deliberate killing of our troops by another nation? That seems to me a deliberate act of war. Why are we holding back? What's in it for us? I can see none. Let's get it on.
Tell me another one pal!
Yeah sure, the next thing you know they will try say that Syria is involved.
I proper response might be to take the Iranian bombs, put them into the hands of the Peshmerga with connections to the Kurdish uprising in N. Iran and give them coordinates and a GPS locator. There have been several bombings in N Iraq over the last few months, maybe...?
Here's a thought....Lets return them. We have Predators and B52s that would make it fun to return these bombs to sender!
