Mar 5 2006 3:15PM Georgian communists mark Stalin's death anniversary
TBILISI. March 5 (Interfax) - A gathering to mark the anniversary of Stalin's death was held on Sunday by Georgian Communists in the Georgian town of Gori, the birthplace of Stalin.
About 100 communists and members of the Dzhugashvili family, among them Stalin's grandson Yevgeny Dzhugashvili, gathered in front of the local Stalin museum, an Interfax correspondent reported.
After the meeting, wreaths were laid to a monument to Stalin in the center of Gori. sd md
Who's marking the death of Prokofiev? Died the same day as Stalin.
Who cares. Russia sucks.
Prokofiev was much more worthy of tribute. His stirring compositions still haunt my musical memory.
Stalin was able to kill from the grave. The mark of a true monster.
Apparently not Georgian communists :)
I just took a bathroom break where I also marked Stalin's death.
:)
Hey, buddy... GEORGIA is NOT in Russia... it is one of our newest and most prominent candidates to join NATO!! HOOwhooo!!
Its sad anyone would come out in support of Stalin.
Georgia is not Russia.
But you're right: Russia sucks.
Tragic - and yet it is the crown of democracy that they can do so - a privilege they would not extend to us were it the other way around.
kind regards.
SECRETARY RICE: I very well know Mr. Medvedev. We have talked on a number of occasions.
But could I go back to the broader question here, which you began to ask? How do we see development of U.S.-Russian relations? Is Russia a strategic partner? Russia is not a strategic enemy or we are not against Russia. It is a country with which we have developed excellent relations over a very long period of time now, really going back to the period of perestroika and the Soviet Union and continuing. And I think that President Bush and President Putin have gained a respect for each other and that they work very well together.
So we see Russia as a strategic partner moving forward. We see Russia as a strategic partner in the war on terrorism. We see Russia as a strategic partner in stopping the spread of weapons of mass destruction. We see Russia as a strategic partner in solving regional issues, like the Balkans or the Middle East.

Another excellent exercise of democratic rights is the Georgian Anti-Soros group which has been fighting Soros funding of politicians, and his NGOs which donate to abortion clinics, and homosexual rights groups.
In Russia millions are still nostalgic about Stalin and his iron fist.
Of all things it is the willingness to kill the unborn that marks the savagery of the so called liberal position. Human sacrifices to the God of convenience. The deepest darkness of the human soul.
kind regards
Actually there are precisious few nostalgic for Stalin.
Even a survey of folks asking simply whether he was more beneficial to Russia or detrimental to Russia (a tough question) only 47% felt he was more beneficial. Yet 49% of Ukranians are specifically nostalgic for the days of Stalin.
Look. 47% in Russia is a lot of folks. And that's disturbing.
