My wife earned her master's degree in communication/production, and she was interested in witnessing the "state of the union," so to speak. When it was over, we were both pretty depressed. Not angry, but just depressed at the emptiness. How far Hollywood has fallen.

Please note that I said that I could see how liberals and Muslims could draw certain conclusions about their enemies because of the trash that many of the Jewish producers and film executives are releasing from Hollywood. I'm not drawing that conclusion, but I could see how others might.
Again, I'm not saying anything racist myself. I'm pointing out that I could see how hateful people could draw conclusions about Jews from what Hollywood is producing.
Here are a couple of quotes from Jewish men, evidence that hateful people might use to support their contention that Jewish film producers are out to corrupt:
Michael Medved, a well-known Jewish author and film critic: "It makes no sense at all to try to deny the reality of Jewish power and prominence in popular culture. Any list of the most influential production executives at each of the major movie studios will produce a heavy majority of recognizably Jewish names."
Jonathan J. Goldberg, now Editor of the influential Jewish community weekly Forward: "In a few key sectors of the media, notably among Hollywood studio executives, Jews are so numerically dominant that calling these businesses Jewish-controlled is little more than a statistical observation. Hollywood at the end of the twentieth century is still an industry with a pronounced ethnic tinge. Virtually all the senior executives at the major studios are Jews. Writers, producers and to a lesser degree directors are disproportionately Jewish -- one recent study showed the figure as high as 59 percent among top-grossing films."
Again, I'm not anti-Jew or anti-Israel. I'm just pointing out that some people might draw a connection between the junk coming out of Hollywood and those who produce that junk.

What part of "59 percent" do you not understand? Do you understand the difference between a producer and an actor? Do you understand who makes decisions about which movies receive funding, what's kept in a script, how a movie distributed, and so on? Actors? No. Not actors. No, not the majority of the names on that list.

I'm dropping this conversation. As I've written before, I'm not anti-Jewish. If I write any more about this, some narrow-minded people might come to the wrong conclusion that I am.
The quality of films procuded in Hollywood is cyclic, and they've just had a particularly rotten run the past 5 - 7 years or so (with a few notable exceptions). But the Jewish influence in Hollywood (and popular culture in general) has always been disproportional, through both the good runs and the bad. .....and I have no problem with it. I suggest those who do have a problem with it - and I'm not suggesting you're one of them - get into the biz themselves rather than bitch and moan about it.
