Every once-in-a-while I find myself thinking "I really miss Reagan".
I was in the Marine Corps when he was in office and he made us all feel proud of being in the military--of being American. We need that spirit again from our politicians.

You and me too, all the quotes for that matter! Lord I do miss that man. I truly believe he was the best of the best, and history will show just that.
oh I LOVE that one! Maybe President Bush should recite that one a few times. Don't get me wrong, I am on his side, but sometimes we can all ask ourselves "What would Reagan do"

Oh absolutely! I wasn't yet alive when that remark was made, but my parents once told me that that comment was the moment millions of Americans fell in love with Mr. Reagan the President. That kind of wit is rare.
Yes, RR was unappreciated, yea ridiculed, by many during his administrations, not the least of whom were most of the posters on the far-;left Guardian website, including a significant number of American libs who eagerly joined British commies in the Reagan bashing. I am reminded of a thread that went into the many hundreds that consisted of inane variations on the name "Ronnie Raygun," a favorite appellation by the Left for Reagan on both sides of the Atlantic.
