My father in law who lives in CA put it this way: "Everything they elected him to do, they won't allow him to do."

The question is, who is "they"? It certainly doesn't seem to be the Democrats or the legislature.

The constitution gives the Governor powers he is obviously reluctant to use (e.g. line-item-veto)--Who won't let him wield the veto pen? Who required that he promote the $6 billion Stem Cell Research sham? Who forced him to promote previously unconstitutional borrowing, opposed by Republicans under the Davis admin and opposed by the majority of the the Republican legislators? Who forced him to promote and implement the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, also opposed by Republican legislators and previously vetoed by Gray Davis? Who forced him to sign 6 pieces of pro-GLBT legislation, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act?

I just read this little quote on another thread:
You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest
there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down.

Facts just get in the way. Some will never admit that most of the leftist actions have been happening since his first hours in office with liberal appointments, record spending increases and the like. Nor will most admit that the special election campaign was totally mismanaged and its failure easily predictable given the approach and timing. They would rather blame conservatives and try to paint Arnold as a victim, or as naive, than acknowledge the Trojan Horse in their midst.

You know what? I don't give a damn.

You are certainly entitled to that opinion. But I do give a damn and don't intend to sit by silently and watch the state be destroyed, nor aid or abet those doing advancing the destruction. Nor will I ignore comments that are clearly unsupported by facts.

Do you work this hard at screwing up Republicans in favor of Democrats in your state as well or are we getting the special treatment for a reason?

In the letter, this guy tells Arnold... "You are the man."

In my humble opinion, forester... YOU are the man!!! In you own thoughtful way, you've done more to help this state than Arnold has.

All he's ever done besides flap his heavily accented lips is sign some few documents to formalize what the majority wanted in some cases and some others that a very small, sinister minority wanted, like the Sierra-Nevada CONservancy!!!

I just noticed this was evidently written by you. Nice work! I have been predicting he would throw in the towel just like his competitor, Jesse Ventura did in MN. I still stand by my prediction!!!
