Delusional? Perhaps.....
But America today is a lot different country than existed pre-9/11..
The consequences of the Clinton Administrations corrupt, inept and traitorous behavior was mostly unrecognized, unreported or unknown until later....
The Democrats and media were successful in keeping the focus on a blow job from a fat intern.....
Permitting Loral to "convey" to the Chinese Communists the ability to launch and target their ICBM for campaign contributions, his feckless imbecilic actions in Somalia, his Bosnian "adventure", his non-reponse to the USS Cole, etc, etc.....
Delusional?.....given that nearly 50% of Americans can still vote for a lying traitorous asshole like Kerry, you might be right... I may have to launch a one man revolution!
Semper Fi
The facts WERE ALL OUT THERE, vis-a-vis the Clintons' corruption, crimes, and treason; yet look at how many votes Kerry did get! Heck, look at how many on FR claim that they voted fringe, for that matter.
The day that you "take to the streets, as a one man army", will be the day YOU will get shot.
You're beginning to sound like you're off your meds!
Get a grip....
Drink some more kool-san, straighten out your bib -- and try not to slobber...
Semper Fi
You're the looney tunes, not I.
Go home little girl, your mommy's calling...
Semper Fi
Is that the best you can do...armchair COWARD? LOL
"Our Sunni Muslim "friends" haven't shown much success in assisting us or the world, in reducing the cost of oil by dramatic increases in production - have they? "
That statement is such a broad brush ... of the one billion Muslims, some are more helpful than others. Of the dozens of muslim-dominated countries, likewise. UAE is one of the most helpful of a bunch of countries that range from somewhat helpful to axis-of-evil. I think it is valid and pertient to note that they are tryign to help on container security.
As for oil, UAE and several other countries are puming at maximum capacity, solely an issue of increased global demand. The two main countries - Venezuala and Iran - pushing for limited production are the main contenders for anti-American country of the year.
"How much could they help, if they desired to do so?..."
How much would they desire to help depends on the level of cooperation, a quid pro quo. DO you want their cooperation? It sounds like you dont trust them enough to do that.
If you're going to accuse folks of being a "coward", perhaps you'll tell us all how you've shown your courage...
Has your bravery gone beyond insulting folks on the internet, from the security of your crib?
Every time you post, you confirm what an infantile and ignorant little girl you are..
Now, I'm asking you nicely - to go away - you're being a pest.
Semper Fi
Not SOLELY an issue of increased demand...
OPEC price fixing and OPEC CAPACITY and PRODUCTION constraits are the factors that MSM and politicans seek to avoid discussing.
If the UAE and Saudi Arabia wished to demonstrate the strength of their commitment as an "ally"...... They could have increased capacity, to increase supply.. and reduce cost.
The fact they're receiving >$60 per barrel for a product that costs about $6 to produce -- must be more attractive than REALLY working with us on that problem..
It seems to me, that we are far too accepting of less than convincing performance from "allies" -- and far too willing to designate allies who have still held to their most onerous and destructive believe systems and behavior...
Semper Fi
Hmmmmmm...if I tell you some things that I've done, you'll either call me a liar or call the acts hubris. It's a heads I win, tails you lose kind of thing...right? LOL
Okay, I tell you a few things I have done and if you name call or try to claim that none of it meant anything, then it's YOUR problem.
Long before there was FR, long before anyone ever "FREEPEED", I was out there doing FREEPS. I fought ( verbally ) the damned stinking hippies and hippy wannabes whop spit on our returning military. I FREEPED ( counter protested ) Caesar Chavez goons, picketing in front of grocery stores, and my husband and I FREEPED a CODE PINK group, we stumbled across, while we were on vacation; for starters.
You go away! You don't own FR. You don't make the rules here and neither are you a MOD.
Ignorant? MOI? LOL
If you live to be 120, you'll never know and understand as much as I did, when I was 10. :-)
"OPEC price fixing and OPEC CAPACITY and PRODUCTION constraits are the factors that MSM and politicans seek to avoid discussing."
I trade the oil markets, so I know exactly what is going on.
Traders are doing as much as OPEC to keep it up, with speculation based on fear. There are production constraints but they are today based on oil production capacity not OPEC cartel decisions.
"If the UAE and Saudi Arabia wished to demonstrate the strength of their commitment as an "ally"...... They could have increased capacity, to increase supply.. and reduce cost."
What you dont seem to be aware of is that capacity *is* increasing, as is production, but it costs billions and takes time to ramp up beyond existing capacity. And the areas of capacity increases, like Nigeria and Iran, are places of greatest risk.
Frankly, from a supply and demand view, the price of oil should be $45, but there is a fear premium based on whether supplies will suddenly dry up. That is why our inventories of oil are bulging yet the price is high.
That OPEC doesnt mind high oil prices, as long as demand doesnt crash, shouldnt be surprising. We'll see wednesday what OPEC decides for the next 6 months.
It may shock you to learn that I suspected you utilized your mouth, most of your life.
Looks like you may have had a good start at having a life.
What happened to turn you into such an insulting, ignorant, and pathetic shrew, who gets her jollies insulting men on the Internet?
Trying to get some man to talk dirty to you?
Go kick your poor, long suffering husband, (if he hasn't escaped) maybe that will get you some action...
Now, I'm asking you nicely --- STOP insulting me, and seek help.
Semper Fi
The deal will go through. You can take it to the bank.
Thanks for the insight from one familiar with the market...
You've convinced me:
1. We should join the fray, and increase our own production.
2. Initiate a national "crusade" to minimize dependence on oil. (The oil shieks will love that term)
3. Since it takes so long - in the interim - we should kick their ass and steal the gas!
</sarcasm>
Thanks again.
Semper Fi
Nothing new under the sun, there has always been a strong wind to blow away the chaff.
I wouldn't bet the farm....
The fat lady ain't sung yet.
Semper Fi
Go out and pay for a dominatrix...I've already given you enough humiliation for free.
However, out of a sense of pity -- my suggestion you seek help, stands... You're one sick chick....
Semper Fi
Good grief...you really ARE stupid as you appear to be. ROTFLOL

I agree with all points. In other threads, I've advocated:
- building 400 nuke power plants and moving cars to EVs
- opening up ANWR, offshore and govt lands to drilling
- looking into oil shale
- looking into alternative fuels
We can whine about OPEC's power at us, but its in our power to change the equation, if we want. As JFK said
"Don't get mad, get even."
And even #3, I'd like just to get at Chavez somehow. Castro+oil= big heap trouble.
