I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.

I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.

The penguins should've been nominated in the Best Picture category. They were the best actors I saw all year, and probably the most intelligent. They're certainly better dressed than most actors these days, and despite their all-fish diet, I bet they smell better.

The additional featurette on the March of the Penguins DVD version is way better than the film itslef. Really!...I'll have to check it out...

I must say Jon Stewart has been pretty funny, making fun of Hollywood. Of course his jokes are not going over too well with the audience. It's hilarious to watch them as so self-important and can't laugh at themselves. Stewart won't be back, lol

Not only did 'March of the Penguins win,' but the best of the four documentary shorts, 'A Note of Triumph' also won. Even though it had Studs Terkel showing he's an asinine senile fart and gave face time to Norman Lear, it did succeed as a documentary.
