HAS ANYBODY SAID IT YET? BOYCOTT THE OSCARS (Oscars Live Thread)

I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...

Jon is really lame. Enough political jokes. The one about the statue ( comparing to Saddam's statue) was totally UN-funny.
Billy Crystal, where are you??

I have a bet with my family that the entire broadcast there will be scores of different women on the screen, but not a one of them will be fat.

Keith looks like he needs a shave all the time, and has long shaggey blondish hair.
He's one of the best country vocalists around. Also from Australia. I love Keith!

Yeah, but it was still a big message movie about how evil the drug companies are. I was rooting for Amy Adams. Didn't care much for the movie "Junebug," but she was great in it, and at least she wasn't lecturing me about how superior Hollywood liberals are to the rest of us unevolved peons.

He's in a tent in the middle of Montana with Chris Rock.

Hippy Parents. Joaquin was named something else - like Leaf or Rainbow or something hippy-ish - but changed it to a real name.
Army of Darkness is on UniversalHD. Hah!

Echo that. Hayden Christensen can act. Look at Shattered Glass.

No, as long as they were being directed by Lucas and reading dialogue written by him, even Keira would've come across as wooden as a kitchen table. Lucas' reverse Midas touch can suck the talent out of even the best actors, from Sam Jackson to Ewan MacGregor. As Harrison Ford once told him, "George, you can type this s**t, but you can't say it."
Yep, consider that SW film considered to be the best, Empire, is the one he had the least influence over.

There is also a Rain, a Summer, and a Liberty in the family. Joaquin went by Leaf early on in his acting career.

Meryl Streep....lefty nut and Bush-basher extraordinaire. I'll never pay to see another thing she does.

I think you're thinking of Joaquin's other siblings.
Can someone give me an update of the awards so far? I don't have a t.v. so it's easy to boycott the show.

They look happy. But with her you never know.
To: JAWs
Hayden was also good in Life As A House.
