I'M trying. I've been trying all week. The other day, I drove another 30 miles or so on the streets and alleys of Baghdad. I'm looking for the civil war that The New York Times declared. And I just can't find it.

Finally, an article I can read. Mr. Peters, thank you. Using humor in title will definetely lure those stupid people to read. (Crossing fingers)

Would the New York Times lie to promote their anti American agenda?

cheering on Americans?? Not something you'll find in the MSM headlines.

The NYT wants a Civil War. Just like the old "Yellow Journalism" days, if it didn't happen to a degree that would achieve your intended outcome, change the info so your outcome occurs. The only problem with this is that our kids die. The SOB's that approve these articles should be held accountable.
To: freeperfromnj
Whoa. Now there is something you will NEVER see in the NYT or WaPo

All day - and it was a long day - we drove through Shia and Sunni neighborhoods. Everywhere, the reception was warm. No violence. None. And no hostility toward our troops. Iraqis went out of their way to tell us we were welcome.
Where else would you see this information?

Whether our local newspulper editor likes it or not, I will keep sending the truth to him to see if he ever gets the hint. If he reads this article, he will probably fear that too many other people will eventually find out the truth contained in it.

I haven't found it either. I keep hearing about some civil war on the news and it's supposedly happening right where I am, but I haven't been able to find it at all.
I mean, if there's a civil war here, I want to see it. Or at least hear it.
I'll let you know if I locate it.
Oh...and I'm also looking for a lighter I misplaced a couple of days ago. I'll let you know if I find that, too.

The SOB's that approve these articles should be held accountable.Yes, they should - Of course they will jump up and down on the flaming barricades of Free Speech and Freedom of the Press.
To which I counter; "freedom of the press does not mean freedom from the truth."

This bombing was the test, and Iraq passes. It's only a matter of time now, America has succeeded.

Instead of a civil war, something very different happened because of the bombing of the Golden Mosque in Samarra. The fanatic attempt to stir up Sunni-vs.-Shia strife, and the subsequent spate of violent attacks, caused popular support for the U.S. presence to spike upward. NYT's reply to the situation; "Damn! Neuman!".

WOW is that nice to read.
I think the country has enough proof now that some in the MSM (actually a very large majority) do not wish this country (or Iraq) well. We also have evidence that someone is sponsoring these news agencies because they are still functioning even after losing major money. So, who is financing them? Obviously not the free market, just where is the money coming from?

Man, I just love FR. I am glad I turned the tv. off a few months back. I would never have known this through the old MSM or our local news paper.

Wow, Mr. Peters isn't going to have to worry about what to wear to those media elite's parties.
