You can imagine the hindu frustration when the MSM captioned the protests held against Bush in India as 'Indians protest Bush visit' , when it was obvious to all of us here that only muslims (and their hindu hating commie sympathisers) protested against Bush....
Muslims constitute 13% of India's population, and yet the protesters in anti-Bush , anti-America rallies held all over India were 99% muslim. Infact Muslims got so frustrated that hindus refused to participate in their anti-Bush rallies that they began stoning a few hindu shops in an Indian town called Lucknow. Hindus got together and struck back , killing 4 muslims.
And what did the MSM say > "4 killed in anti-Bush protests in India". What the headline did not reveal was , the pro-Bush , pro-US Indians , the hindus , killed the anti-Bush, anti-US so-called Indians , the muslims.
I just hope it is clear to all that Indians who care about India love America and hold great respect for your President.
"I just hope it is clear to all that Indians who care about India love America and hold great respect for your President."
Yes. I have met some of them on my campus.
Thank you for the article and for the support. We don't hear it too often.
I worked with many Indians on a project a year ago, and they were great to work with. They didn't have too much trouble getting used to living here, and some were as rabid Dallas Cowboys fans as many of the "natives." :)
One thing I learned is that they all speak English, because it's the only common language, each state has a different language, so the only way Indians could communicate with each other is by speaking English.
India is going to be a very important partner for the US.
I have a neighbor who is from India, and she hates everything in America. She says the only people who come here from other countries are the desperately poor.
From this article and the responses, it sounds like she is unusual in her sentiment. I am glad to hear it.
I, for one, do appreciate that India has a very friendly attitude towards the US. The fact that they're building a wall to stop a flood of immigration shows foresight and courage on the part of their government. Think our current government could learn a thing-or-two from India on how to stoke a domestic economy.
Thanks so much for posting the article and your follow up commentary Raj...it's absolutely wonderful what's happening in India in terms of the growing middle class, which always leads to stabile politics and govt.
Happens all the time, just pick a country.
