Glitters Rock n Roll Part 1, played at nearly every professional football game in the world. Probably one of the most played songs ever.
Sheesh, he threw it all away.
What a cryin shame.

Yeah but only for 8 months. Freggin` 8 months for raping not one but TWO, and this is a guy who has a history of collecting thousands of pics of kids getting raped. What the hell is 8 months? Since when did Vietnam go liberal?

I don't think this guy just got that way, he was always a pedophile. Hard to imagine how many kids he's screwed up for life. He should never walk the streets again.

Three years in a Vietnamese prison is going to be like 30 in a Western prison. It'll be a toss up as to whether on any given day it's the inmates who are kicking the crap out of him or the guards.

Look at this, I just check out his bio....
"Deported from Cambodia "in the best interest of the children", according to Cambodian authorities. This in response to his 1999 criminal conviction for possession of child pornography."
What the hell!! Why was he let back in?? And still he will be up for parole in 8 months! Too bad this wasn`t Singapore, he`d be drawn and quartered by now.

Hollywood director Roman Polanski is a fugitive living in Europe. He was found guilty of sex with an underage girl and fled the U.S. in 1977. He still makes films and won an Oscar which I believe was delivered to him by one of his Hollywood buddies. He is a Hollywood hero.
I guess you can be a pedophile with everyone's blessing if you are in the entertainment field.

The article amazes me. Glitter was leader of a decadent, take-it-to-the-extremes social and musical movement. It celebrated drugs, homosexuality, and promiscuity and emphasized the weirdly promiscuous. "Gotta make way for the homo superior."
Now, the author moans, Glitter has let people down when he turns out to be decadent and weirdly promiscuous.
A society that fills concert halls to see Glitter and his fellow glammers and doesn't think that is really strange is already halfway broken. Twenty years later, everyone is 'shocked' when it turns out they weren't joking.
