Spike Lee obviously doesn't think black people can achieve success unless it is given to them or by being a raging lunatic, mad at the world and hateful in thought. The race pimps promote the philosophy that Blacks can only make it through group struggle (led by the race pimps, of course) rather than individual initiative, intelligence, and work. Thus any Black's success has been achieved through the "struggle" of the "community", and anybody who says different is an "Uncle Tom"
