Isn't he about a week late to the verge-of-civil-war talking point?

Watching Fox News this morning, I'd say he might be right.

It was disturbing to hear that Shias are moving OUT of Shiite neighborhoods and vice versa.(source: Col Bill Cowen).

Sounds like they are clearing the decks, getting ready for a fight.

The violence perpetuated in reaction to the bombing of the mosque has apparently ended. Another trigger will be needed to get it going again, but maybe next time the hotheads will be controlled even quicker.

Woo hoo--Rhode Island Senator Reed, a former Army Ranger and a current Democrat, says ...yada...yada...yada. Big deal. No big insights. Why are his comments news?

This is a war on terrorism not a civil war. But tell us again, which side is the terrorist?

Dare one suggest that what Senator Reed really means is that he wishes it to be so?

"His remarks tonight came during a foreign policy address at Brown University."

This is about right for him - giving a foreign policy address in front of a bunch of people studying to drive UPS trucks.

" He faulted the Bush administration for failing to better develop Iraq's infrastructure, economy and government institutions. "

Isn't this something that " HAS " been going on for the last 2 1/2 years? but, the MSM refuse to report any good news that has been going on in Iraq and how many things were getting built in spite of the daily bombings, and how many hospitals/schools/roads/electric plants/ were getting built ?
The only reason that things aren't were they should be is because of the DEMS/LIBS/ obstruction.
Just imagine how much more could have been accomplished if the libs/dems/ were on the same page as President Bush on Iraq effort.
The DEMS/LIBS/MSM hypocrisy is so blatant, on one hand, they obstruct, stall, refuse to fund , and then, turn around and blame President Bush and the Republicans for not getting enough accomplished in Iraq, were ? it was the LIBS/DEMS/MSM/TERRORIST who were part of the problem.
