It will be harder on his mom, I think. But he is getting a football scholarship, to an Ivy League College. He would be stupid not to go :)
Bowdoin's not Ivy League but in terms of status and reputation there isn't much difference between them. And it's not the kind of school to take jocks just because they're jocks. Obviously your son has a good head on his shoulders. Now I just have to work on his old man. :)
