Bill O'Reilly just defended David Gregory's drunken appearance on Imus radio show tonight on "The Factor". O'Reilly claimed Gregory was a "good guy", and "was probably just tired" so "I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt". Even guest Juan Williams was amazed, saying Gregory had ruined his credibility.

What's up with this guy, anyway? I find O'Reilly interesting, but sometimes he makes me furious.

O'Reilly kisses serious butt in the perpetual vain hope he will land a network anchor job.
Pucker up big, Bill!!1

And yet, there are still liberals who think this O'Reilly is a right-winger.

O'Reilly sucked up for Gregory big time. Juan Williams ripped him but good. I think it's the first time I've agreed with Williams.

What if Gregory was drunk, so what? He's only a liberal parrot anyways.
Being drunk on the job has never been to the detriment of Ted Kennedy, why should it affect a parrot, it's not like he's going to miss out on any real news or anything.

OReilly is just another member of the media, they all protect each other.

Considering that the Fox gang has to put up with having Geraldo as a colleague, what can any of them really say? Buffoons shouldn't be working for serious news organizations? Well, Geraldo and Bill "Falafels and Loofahs" O'Blowhard do.

Didn't you see the Imus thread where Imus was wondering if he was drunk?

I'll give David Gregory a pass on this. If I was David Gregory I'd have to get drunk to tolerate myself, too.

Bill O would not last in the network news.
Bill O has reached his pinnacle.
Some people recognize their limits others push till they break.

Oh please.....remember when B'ORe was defending Dan Rather! Nothing's changed.
By defending Gregory he hopes the enemies of our country will protect him in the future.

I didn't see it, but a lot of people are saying he was drunk or high on something ,this morning on the Don Imus show when he called in.
To: OKIEDOC
When he is not in his pathetic butt-kissing sycophant mode, I actually like O'Reilly.
His obvious efforts to be nice-nice to liberals is just hopeless. They absolutely hate his guts.

IIRC....when the dirty sex talk scandal broke around O'Reilly's head, his ratings went up significantly.
