Brit Hume Barbeques AP, The Left, for Katrina Lies (Dinosaur media death bellow)
Fox News | 3/2/06

Posted on 03/02/2006 5:00:32 PM PST by pabianice

In case you missed it, Brit Hume and his panel incinerated the Dinosaur Pres tonight on "Fox Evening News" regarding the "new secret tapes that prove Bush wanted to kill black people in New Orleans."

The Left's Lies In order:

1. The "confidential tapes" breathlessly released yesterday by Al Prazeera are nothing of the sort. They were released to the entire press last August. AP has simply lied, again.

2. The NOAA weatherman on film said that there was a "20% chance the levees might be topped." Not, desroyed, topped. No one expected the levees would be breached.

3. Gov. Blanco and Mayor Nagin are noted to be profusely thanking Bush for his attention to the storm and his promised help. The lie that they were never informed or promised help is one of the Left's most loathsome lies.

4. Brown says over and over again how much he thanks Bush for his hands-on, hour-by-hour attention to the approaching storm, and Bush's promise to give the Gulf states whatever help they request (they didn't request help until too late, but somehow that's Bush's fault, too).

5. Brown notes that the Civics Domr is 12 feet below sea level and he doubts it can serve as a shelter for NO residents. In response, neither Blanco nor Nagin have a clue or any idea at all what to do. Somehow it's all Bush's responsibility.

6. Harry Reid is shown today blaming Bush for conscientious neglect and suggests that Bush wanted to kill black people/Democrats. This speaks for itself.

Of course, not one word of 1-5 will appear in the New York Whore of the Boston Fishwrap. but it is satisfying to see Fox do its job as a news organization.

During the "State of Black America" form that Tavis Smiley had last week...some of the speakers were calling any NEW citizens of New Orleans, "occupiers", ala the Jews in Israel...

Then I hear Barney Frank and the "ethnic cleansing" remark...and they are painting a picture of a planned, controlled ATTACK on New Orleans by President Bush...

And these people want to impeach HIM!!

And we have republicans in congress stabbing the president in the back at every turn.

Susan Collins and assorted other imbeciles, such as Arlen Specter......

For now Great Britain has the leases on the ports in question.

What does the proposed legislation plan to do about that?

Mort was off to the left too.

Mort did not seem to realize that the hurricane and the flooding from the breached levees were 2 different events that had several hours in between them. I realize that the old media wants uninformed American (dems?) people to think this, but I would have expected someone who makes his living discussing current events to have been better informed.

India? So if we had the same law keeping foreign investment out then we could have the same standard of living as them? No thanks. LOL

LOL....I know the feeling.

I just don't get why the GOP Congresscritters are distancing on this Katrina thing...

As far as I am concerned, there isn't anything more that President Bush could have done, than what he did, and I know that our LIVE Katrina threads would chronicle the time line of Nagin and Blanco's hesitancy, and lack of response to the FEDS, when they were trying to get permission to come in and help.

So WHAT! Brit can rant all he wants, the panel can go on and on, who cares! There aren't enough people that watch this show to make any difference at all. This administration has beyond a doubt the worlds worst PR department, no I take that back it doesn't have a PR department. Charges are made, no answer, just big dumb smiles...well gang Bush is going to smile his way to a huge Republican defeat in November. If the administration doesn't answer the charges then they stick and are they sticking.

I have said over and over. I want to see who will stand up and demand the President have the power to usurp the power of any governor in any state in any emergency.

Take over their national guard even if they refuse as BlankO did.

Waiting to see that day. Till then, they need to stop lying, posturing, and proving their ignorance.

If President Bush HAD done what you said....he would have been breaking the law...THEN they would have asked for the independent commission for THAT reason, and asked for impeachment to be part of it...

No one expected the levees would be breached.

To be factual, wasn't it the canal wall that collapsed?...still a tragedy but different than the levees.

Of course, the President would have broken the law if he suspended posse comitatus.

Clinton did it when he got the military involved in the attack on WACO. Something that Weasley Clark tried to cover up.

This President is not going to do that under any circumstances and I don't want any President, even this one, to have that power.
