There are allegations that animals were mistreated during the filming of the so-called gay-cowboy movie, "Brokeback Mountain".
In a letter filed to "Brokeback Mountain" director Ang Lee, the American Humane Association expressed dismay over reports that animal care and protection guidelines were violated during the Oscar-nominated movie's filming in Canada. The American Humane Association is the authority behind the "No Animals Were Harmed"(r) End Credit Disclaimer on film and television productions.
Because "Brokeback Mountain" was produced in Canada, the production company was able to circumvent use of the Guidelines and oversight by the American Humane Association. "Filming abroad may be a cost-cutting measure, but the animals shouldn't have to pay the price," said Karen Rosa, director of American Humane's Film & TV Unit.

Gerbils?
Did Richard Gere act in that?
I won't go to see Backside Mountin' because I rearly go to see films that I know are painful in the end.

I heard that they were also abusing drugs on the set.
People were smoking joints.
There was even talk of some injections...

I hope this becomes a figurative federal case.
I can't wait to see how the 'tolerant liberals' who aggressively promote both animal/homosexual rights deal with the blatant cognitive dissonance in this.
If Mel Gibson had ever hurt an animal in his movies, this would be front page news and a new PETA crusade.

How about, "The sheep were nervous during the filming of Brokeback Mountain, and it wasn't because of stage fright."
Or: "Brokeback Mountain - Where the men are gay, the women clueless, and the sheep are nervous."
