Does anyone know where i can find the complete speech by mr berlusconi at the American Congress of yesterday?
I wanna know how did the American Media and the American People take it. I would know what you think about it and about our FRiendship!
I'm really courious about that 'cause here the Left says Berlusconi was not good yesterday and you didn't really like him.
thank you all.
Claudia
Ciao Claudia, the media did not give it much converage in my opinion. I will tell you this, among real americans, we appreciate what Sr. Berlusconi has done to help the USA and Italy in the war on terror. ciao.
I've found a pay for service site at http://web.fnsg.com/transcript.htm?id=20060301t0222&nquery=&query=Berlusconi&SLID=dedc8eeab781373e55ba6b3f457442af
but I haven't found aything on C-SPAN yet.
Any other FReepers know of to find transcripts for all addresses to Congress? I thought this would be a simple search and freely obtainable. Its failure doesn't shine well on democracy as a successful politic.
Try C-Span sites you may have luck with the search.
Mr Berlusconi is a solid.
Good for Italy, friend of America.
Claudia -- we love Berlusconi (and Italy) around here, and the good people in Congress (that excludes the Democrats) do too.
We're all convinced that they are the dumbest on the planet. They cover a story that is over a year old non-stop but if it's important, if it matters to the country's wellbeing, if it's historic, they don't have time for it.
The only way I knew he even addressed congress was one single picture of him standing at the lecturn.
