Surely looks like this medal....The Navy Cross
He could go to Mardis Grass as anything he wanted, but he chose to make fun of the military...............
ping to above
PINGaroo to a real good laugh!
Good call!
Bump for later read
Never, in costume or protest, would I ever wear any medal of valor. It's reserved for those who risked their life for the lives of others.
Consider the hypocrisy here. Nagin's inactivity resulted in the deaths of many people; then he blamed someone else for the results of his incompetence.
His wearing a soldier's uniform and medals is not costuming, it is ridicule.
I agree with all you've said.
There are times when words fail me. This is one of them.

What a total POS.
OMG -- that is HYSTERICAL!!!!
Saved THAT one to send to my brother! HA!
WOW -- I didn't do too badly for a civilian! But even *I* know better than to put them on if I didn't earn them.
Can't he be arrested for impersonating a military officer?
No, it is it's own drink. Like a bottled chocolate milk (but different).
Did he get that cigar from Bill Clinton? I think I see a Lewinsky band on it.
The defining element in Nagin is UNACCOUNTABILITY.
It will be his epitaph. "Blame Someone Else for doing what I did, and for not doing what I should have done."
Well Done.
I think that's only if he attempts access to a military base using that uniform or actively speaks for the military.
Now, if he was stupid enough to put the CMH on his chest, then they'd nail him. Considering that he put Air Force, Army, Marine and Navy medals for valor on his chest, he just alienated EVERYONE in the military and proved he's a complete horse's ass.
Most military people would beat the crap out of him on sight for what he did if they could get his hands on him.
