Well, to be fair to Morris, he's arguing that she can win not that she will win...and all in all that's not a bad position for anyone opposed to her to take. Under-estimating the rabid spirit with which the left will back her - they'll make broken-glass Republicans look pretty tame by comparison - is not a wise stance to take at this point.

I don't know about Dick Morris, but Hillary scares me.

Everyone says she can't win. But when I look at Kerry, who was a horrible, extremely leftist candidate, and see how close that election was, I get nervous.

Kerry shouldn't have gotten more than 40%. Everything about him screamed one world European style UN loving socialism. The election should have been a blowout.

If they were stupid enough to vote for Kerry, they are stupid enough to vote for Hillary.

I just don't see Hillary picking up any Southern states in 2008. People are on to this lady and no what a phony she is. This whole'' moving to the center'' thing is not flying down there.People can see through her, and what they see, they don't like. The cultural forces that Hillary's candidacy will unleash - from the media, from Hollywood and from the cultural icons who decree our lifestyles - will be far beyond those that normally line up behind a presidential candidate.

There is also a backlash against the MSM and Hollywood that shouldn't be dismissed. Lots of folks have had it with these fuzzy headed nutjobs "who decree our lifestyles".
