Interesting take on how talk radio programs take callers.

Then there's Jim Rome: "Have a take, don't suck or you'll get run."
Darn newbies.... ;-)
Let's see, you're a "McCainic, Keyster, one of them" seem to come to mind.
It would be no different. Noone held a gun to my head and said..."Sit on hold or else!"
One time on Hannity, this guy was spouting all this really offensive stuff, and Hannity kept calling the guy a liberal, and the guy kept denying it. This went on for a while until finally the frustrated Hannity says "well, what are you then?" The guy laughs sardonically and says "I'm not a liberal, I'm a LEFTIST." Not much Hannity could say to that.
And what's the deal with Savage tearing down other hosts? That doesn't seem very kosher.
Savage really likes it if you call him Dr. Savage and tell him how brilliant he is.
That I can accept. I've seen note on this forum where someone was upset because they set on hold on a liberal show when they had the smoking gun to kill the hosts position.
Tony is mostly never rude, but I was starting to feel pretty insulted last week when he kept saying that anybody that opposed the port deal was a racist.
The bad part of it for me is that I had to renew my AFTRA membership and unions tend to support the losers at the expense of those who work hard. You'd be surprised how fast they find out you're in the market and send you a letter stating that unless you pay up your dues, you're about to become unemployed.
There were a couple good things the union did though. We got a new PD and he loved staff meetings....called them frequently until the union reminded them that, according to the contract, staff members that were called in for the meeting (not during your shift) had to be paid for that time at a minimum of four hours at the overtime rate. That was the end of random staff meetings.
The other happened when a new PD posted a dress code (no more T-shirts). The union notified him that that would amount to a change in contract terms not agreed upon by the principals. Other than that it was like pouring union dues (and they ain't cheap) down a rat-hole.
Back! I say Back! Back to the HTML Sandbox with you.
Tony uses those phony polls to criticize the President. I called him on it one time and he gave me some lame excuse. He ought to know better. The questions, the people polled, the percentages of r and d and i make all the difference. He chooses to ignore the details.
I always wish that Rush would have some guests who are experts in various issues.
Forbes on Medical Savings Accounts, for instance.
bttt
Ok, I've got to ask the question. Why are you so hot on medical savings accounts?
Have you done any research on these accounts?
As a matter of fact, yes.
Or from the days of Henry Cooke on WMAQ or of Paul Harvey on WAIT ... oh, WAIT.... uh, never mind... ;^D
