Please see post #33 in this thread.
"Socialist elitists masquerading as hardworking and caring servants of the people :-)"
Hmmm, yes. And I have to wonder what kind of car the minister drives? Or if his lifestyle can live up to his own green philiosophy? If he is like our American hipocrite socialist politicians (read Al Gore or John Kerry), he drives a giant, gas-guzzling limo and flies around in private jets, all the while bemoaning what regular folks are doing to get around. You see, in the minds of these people, THEY are exempt because THEY have good intentions or are just plain smarter than everyone else!
So true, and even when they are doing their "green" and "environmentally friendly" recreational activities they still insist on needless overconsumption.....sKerry became famous for his FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR BICYCLE while President Bush rides a far more modest but equally functional Trek. How many of the overpaid and endlessly preaching celebrities at the Oscar broadcast arrived by bicycle, to set an example and demonstrate how they follow their own (hysterical) advice that they regularly dish out to the rest of us, even when we don't ask?
(waiting for a reply, deciding that I probably won't get one)
Okay then, how many of these Leftist, mouthy film and TV celebrities who rail against the rest of us for our alleged violence against the environment even OWN a bicycle?
(tapping furry stoat foot on the floor as I wait, hearing the sound of crickets chirping in the background)
I suspect that the answer to both of the above questions would most likely be "none"
.
It looks like grand, screaming fun! I will bookmark it so that I will be sure to visit when I got to that area next time. Thank you! :-)
hehe! Thank you for the recommendation.....I guess animals the world over can frequently outsmart a trash can :-)
He uses a Prius, so it's only fair that you be forced to do the same.
Plus there's nothing a good stiff tax can't cure.
Liberalism is a disease!

He SAYS he has one anyway; but who's to say how often he uses it? Perhaps it's one of several, the larger and more comfortable of which he uses when no cameras or reporters are around, and he's interested in a COMFORTABLE and SAFE ride.
Plus there's nothing a good stiff tax can't cure.
Particularly a tax that makes people feel guilty for wanting to provide comfort and safety for themselves.....how dare they!!!
Liberalism is a disease!
Yes, and it's one of the few diseases that can harm others who are hundreds or thousands of miles away.
ROTFLMAO!!! But you can be thankful that they apparently have a far more gracious and congenial demeanor than the typical camel :-)
Agreed....instead of being a Minister in the Department of Silly Walks he could be cast as a Minister in the Department of Your Car Is Too Large If It's Bigger Than Mine :-)

You stoats have way too much common sense.
Safety's a relative term. In multiple car MVAs, bigger usually is safer. In single car MVAs, SUVs and minivans are more dangerous than passenger cars. A car's best safety feature is still a good driver :)
