I think this is my favourite photo of them from November 2004.

I hope to tour the WH when we visit DC, and was told by my congress-critter's office that I can take nothing...nada...zip...zero, into the WH with me. No cell, no purse, zilch.
(sigh) not sure I will handle that well.

I am glad you got to see them we did not miss that many last night just the ones of him giving the speech and a few arrival pics

All of the women are dressed appropriately except Maria Shriver Schwarzenegger and the Gov. of Hawaii, but at least the Hawaiian governor was dressed in a business suit. Much better than having middle-aged boobs hanging out.

I cannot believe Arnie's wife wore that dress that she was almost in or nearly out of it depending on your point of view!!

The First Lady looked gorgeous. I LOVE that color blue. Mrs. Rumsfeld also looked lovely.

Fantastic. She is not only adorable, but quite a beauty. No wonder Rummy is so happy all the time.
You know, joy is something that has a tendency to do something beautiful to a person's face. Not to mention their heart of course.

I read that on the White House Website that you cannot take anything and that there is no facility for you to leave anything to collect afterwards so if you did have something you would be turned away.
Must be awkward for day visitors I suppose you would have to rent a locker or something at a train station to put your stuff before you went there.

Magnificent Photos Snugs.. and so great to see our guy black tie.. I am not overly impressed with Laura's outfit.. (not that she needs to dress to impress me).. but she is so wonderful looking in certain styles & this matron look to me is not becoming.
In this sequence, note Gov Huckabee to Dubya's right.. as he should be as chm of governor's association. He brought the house down at the 2005 Inaugural (FReeper) Ball & I understand he did the same in 2001.
I see him as a player in future presidential races
Here is a hot of he & I (well, just posing)
:-)

We should all be so lucky to have a relationship like the Rumsfelds have even after so many years of marriage.

Thanks for the GREAT photos. Don't have time to read much, just to glance at the photos - have started a new sales job and we have a TEST tomorrow - intense training!!!
But the pics are divine - a tuxedo is a thing of beauty on our Hunk-In-Chief!!!!
To: snugs
