The backlash against the media and the dems for overreaching -- they will continue to overreach, bitch and moan, and not put up any ideas for anything at anytime.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that President Bush's chief political strategist Karl Rove "spends a lot of time obsessing about me."
Is he running for a 3rd. term???

A collapse in the housing market ? A mushroom cloud in Iran ? Housing market will be fine, no so-called bubble. So no need to worry about that. Now a mushroom cloud in Iran would be helpful.

keep pushing the ports deal down americans throats.
I warned fellow freepers that this thing had legs, that it would split republican support for Bush. it has.
To: CWOJackson
If the GOP losses it's their fault, not the Presidents. No argument from me, it's just that Dubya shouldn't be shoveling dirt on them while he digs himself into a deep hole.

That was a silly reponse. I was showing you that the party of an unpopular president has never kept the White House in the next election.
Gore was running on peace and prosperity. On paper he should have won. But the public was tired of Clinton drama so he lost.

"He literally couldn't give a rat's a** about polls." Bush may not care but Karl Rove sure does as well as every Republican candidate this year.

LOL! He's not. The GOP Senate and House are shoveling dirt on themselves. If they take a hit in November it will be self inflicted.

Even Taft could have won in 1952.

It's frustrating and it is preventable. After awhile you just have to admit that there is something wrong with the administraton. Don't get me wrong, I would never vote for the jerks who call themselves Democrats these days, but I expected more from a Republican administration than I am getting.

The MSM is STILL trying to milk this story. It will be such a distant, unremarkable memory within weeks. Just like Cheney trying to kill his hunting buddy is now a dead letter.

No man rates my unquestioning obedience. Has it ever occurred to you that a leader can be dead wrong ? And the same pertains to you also, correct?
And don't give me the out that you aren't a "leader".
You are leading by giving your opinion.

He and the GOP could turn it around. It would help if they seemed like they were trying, though.

If things get shaken up that would be good. Frist and that other buy in the House...the one who looks like Drew Carry...deserve it. They are spineless, they have offered NO leadership and they continue to act like they are the minority party.
