The UAE has been unfairly attacked and slandered during this fabricate crisis. When an allie in this fight is attacked the professional military takes serious exception.
Clearly Sean is on the side of the Port Authority of NY union folks.
That's his right but he's not being honest about those who do not support the unions against the UAE holding the lease on the terminals.
CWOJackson's comments illustrate the attitude of so many here on FR: if they disagree with someone like Sean on one issue or even several they're ready to write him off completely. I don't always agree with Sean but I still think he's a good man and generally on the right side of things.

Which is actually accurate believe it or not. In stark contrast to the language the media has been using, which is, "buy the ports", or "own the ports", depending on the source you're getting your information from.
That's all they will do, beyond the buyout of P&O and transfer of the P&O lease, is manage the port. They won't own them, much less buy them. Six ports for $8.6 billion would be a cheap price.
He called the Koolaide drinkers more then once on his own show and a lot more when he stopped by Levin's show afterwards.
Perhaps we should follow his example and just call him a Schumer Koolaid swiller.
Coast Guard now questioning data gaps:
"There are many intelligence gaps, concerning the potential for DPW or P&O assets to support terrorist operations, that precludes an overall threat assessment of the potential" merger," an undated Coast Guard intelligence assessment says.
"The breadth of the intelligence gaps also infer potential unknown threats against a large number of potential vulnerabilities," the document says.
The document raised questions about the security of the companies' operations, the backgrounds of all personnel working for the companies, and whether other foreign countries influenced operations that affect security.
"This report suggests there were significant and troubling intelligence gaps," said Collins, R-Maine. "That language is very troubling to me."

If you bothered to go to the P&O website, you can get all the relevant information and pertinent details of this sale, including the announcement of a buyout by DPW, the ports DPW will manage, contracts, who was involved in the bidding process to buy P&O, and the asking price.
The CEO of DPW said the $8.6 billion pricetag was a "generous offer".
Some days dontcha just wish you never heard of ports! ;-)
There is no need to be condescending and rude, besides being a very poor way to try and justify your point. The point you made was a nitpicking disagreement. The Pres, himself, described it in exactly the terms that you kvetched about Sean.
The description does not undermine his position at all. Fact is, that this company will have access to our ports, and the employees of the company (I presume that the management of the company in NY will be appointed be corporate HQ in Dubai) will be in a unique position to observe port operations as well as security. If this is not the case, all I ask for is the information necessary to change my mind.
Go ahead, it would be a lot nicer than some of the things people are calling him on this thread, or accusing him of.
Look, I don't necessarily agree with Sean on this issue, either, but there's no way I'm going to write him off or attack him personally. He's a good man and most of the time he's right on the money. I would dare to say that most of the time you land on the same side of issues as Sean does also.
So more people listen to Limbaugh then turn off Hannity then stay around to listen to Hannity. I can understand that.
He's for the most part, a Libertarian.
