what if new yorkers say, "Maybe I don't want her representing us for 2 years, most of that time while running for President...." and she's defeated. Then what?

KKT's shrillness helped elect Bob Ehrlich win in Maryland and HRC's shrillness will help the Republican nominee in 2008.

The only thing that saved the country in 2000 and 2004 was that the Democrats selected such unlikable people to be nominees (and even then narrowly lost). With luck they'll make the same mistake in 2008.

Daniel Henninger from The Wall Street Journal pointed out in his Friday column a week or two ago that the Democrats' high-decibel reaction to every anti-Bush story that comes along, even if not convincing to people who pay attention to the details, may give that part of the public that doesn't pay close attention a feeling of being tired of the Bush administration because of the constant uproar.

Bush fatigue, plus a third party candidacy, could allow Hillary to get to the White House even if more than half the country is unable to stand her.

I'd like to believe that this witch can't be elected POTUS, but I'm too cynical or paranoid to hope that she can't be. The left is so nuts, vocifierous, hateful and relentless in their hate for Bush and America.

I believe they would sell us out to the Islamofascists. Forgive me, but I think Hillary Rodham is the end of the world. I hope something terrible happens to her. She's dangerous.

From the article:
The WNBC/Marist Poll showed that 51 percent of registered voters do not want her to run, including 25 percent of Democrats and 53 percent of independents.

Also, 51 percent of registered voters in a recent Gallup poll said they definitely would not vote for Clinton.

Right now, don't look good for the Beaste. But don't worry, she'll have the LSM singing her praises 24/7 soon enough.

Hit her every day about the FBI files they stole. Implicate the DNC and the Party in the crime. Demand that the RAT party produce the files, explain where they have been, and why they did not fully comply with the law from the start. Remind everyone that thinks the RAT party is more capable at governing, that the pary committed this crime.

Don't believe the naysayers in this article Hillary. They are probably part of The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

Of course she is going to run. And right now she is doing a poor job of it, having done what I thought was impossible: anger her leftist base by constant, incessant triangulation.

One reason for her presumptive lead, of course, is the affection in the party for her husband...

This is consider to be the most perverse of all, and the most confusing. How could leftists love Bill Clinton, a man who led them to minority status nationwide and cemented in the mind of the public the idea of Democrats as philandering, irresponsible, pot-smoking hippies?

My theory is this: I think Bill Clinton became to them the living embodiment of the Bohemain lifestyle; that is, anti-establishment, anti-religion, anti-rules, the guy who chased tail around the office and got away with it, the guy who ran circles around the stodgy Republicans, the guy who stuck it in the eye of the despised Religious Right. This is the core identity of the New Left: social revolution by any means. I suspect that it didn't take a lot of soul-searching for the grassroots left to stay on Clinton's bandwagon.

Democrats in the Senate, I think, had a harder time coming around but of course they did in the end.

i can't figure out what the witch has actually accomplished in her 6 years in the senate? do we have any stats on anything she's led?

the smartest woman in the world, with the senate as her bully pulpit, should have a few shining moments at least. .

One new poll shows that a majority of registered voters never would vote for her.

Where I can get a Hillary! bumper sticker?

I thought the country had gone to hell the night Carter got elected. If there is a place worse than hell--that's where Hillary would put us.

"We all believe she's wonderful," said Dick Harpootlian, a former South Carolina Democratic Party chairman. "But we also believe that if she's the nominee, it sets up perfectly for the Republicans to win the White House for another four years."

That, and the Democrats have a losing platform of ideas.

If Bill Clinton were permitted to run for President again, I would not bet against him.

However, if Hillary! Clinton runs for President, she is toast.

This has a lot less to do with Clinton Fatigue or past scandals or anything other than the fact that Hillary! and Bill Clinton are not the same people, politically speaking.

Where Bill is easy and breezy and can lie with a smile, Hillary! is harsh and stiff and cannot be convincing even when she is telling an obvious truth. Bubba was so darn charming, he made you feel happy to be lied to. Hillary! is so unpleasant, you just hope she'll shut up soon.

The Democrats tend to believe their own hype. They actually believe that the country wants Hillary! to run for President.........and that is an incredibly sick, laughable joke.

She may have snookered too many idiots in NY State to vote for her for the Senate........but the rest of the country just isn't quite so stupid. We KNOW the wench for who and what she is.

If the Republicans put up ANY kind of real, substantial candidate..........she'd lose by a landslide.
