TUSTIN, Calif. A man was hospitalized after he drove his car into a Tustin beauty salon Saturday, police said.
A vehicle was driven all the way into Fine Touch Hair & Nails, in the 17500 block of 17th Street and was reported at 2:43 p.m., Tustin police Lt. Charles Celano said.
Officers responding to the crash found an unconscious man at the wheel, his foot still on the gas pedal.
We're not sure if this is a medical issue, or if he was under the influence," Celano said.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital.
At least four people were inside the salon, but were not injured in the crash. One woman cut her foot on broken glass as she was leaving the salon after the wreck, Celano said.
When will we start seeing "HYBRID drives into beauty salon"?
SUVs at it again. When will the carnage end?
What was the SUV driving? Did it have a gun? Was it hopped up on drugs?
Did the SUV get its hair done?
No, we'll have to wait for the hybrids for that I think.
CBS edits it, evidently. As they boasted to Drudge, they have whole echelons of editors and copyeditors in the MSM, fact checkers and grammar checkers and source checkers and all the rest.
Unfortunately they all must have gone to the Columbia School of Journalism or some similar institution, so they never got a proper education.
True.
OK, which is it? The headline said the SUV drove into the salon but the story said a man drove his car into the salon. First, I didn't think we were allowed to say SUVs were cars. Second, who is correct, the headline writer or the story writer? If the headline is correct, we have to stop these SUVs from driving on their own.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
I don't understand. First it's an SUV, then it's a car, then it's a vehicle. What's next? A UFO?
Guess they don't need editors when they have video.
Why college graduates from the Public School System, of course!
You need to read the story more closely. The man was unconscious, so clearly it was the SUV that committed this evil act. The SUV probably even let a little exhaust into the passenger compartment before doing this, to ensure that the driver was soundly passed out, and couldn't stop it from happening.
Drive through service?
No, a Hybrid came by and performed CPR on the victims, saving several lives, then refused a reward or recognition, saying the someone had activated the ALGORE light and it had to respond to another ecological emergency. On the way out it swept up the broken glass.
LOL! Not far from the truth probably.
