WASHINGTON: Seven soldiers from the US Armys elite 82nd Airborne Division have been charged with engaging in sex for money on an Internet website, the army said Friday. Three of the soldiers were charged with pandering, sodomy and wrongfully engaging in sexual acts with another person while being filmed, with the purpose of broadcasting over the Internet for money, the army said in a statement. The army gave no further details but the division had previously been reported to be investigating soldiers for engaging in sex on a gay website. The three face possible court-martial while four other soldiers received administrative punishment for lesser violations of military law. Those charges included underage drinking, drunken driving and being intoxicated while on duty, the army said. The four were reduced in rank to private, given 45 days extra duty, fined one half months pay for two months, and recommended for discharge. The soldiers came from two companies in the 2nd Battalion 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment. afp
Wow. I'm sure their families will be proud.
On the other hand, doesn't AFP have certain.... credibility problems?
Democrats will probably run them for House Seats.
No, their seats are already taken.
Anyone see Jeff Gannon?
Yeah, they're probably pitching for the next pulitzer...
....groan....
Moan?
but don't ask or tell
Every time someone disgraces the uniform I cringe. We don't need this.
Lovely. Para Poofters. The depths to which butt-gunners will sink is astounding. They are a blight on our proud, courageous and honorable military.

"So, whose turn is it to pack their 'chutes?"
I'll bet they still get a 10-point hiring preference. I just wonder where they'll use it.
"Mommy, why does that parachute look brown while the other ones look so nice and white?"
Three of them are named in another article:
The three soldiers who face courts martial are: Spc. Richard Ashley, Pte. 1st Class Wesley Mitten and Pte. Kagen Mullen. The army did not release their ages or hometowns but said all seven paratroopers were members of the 2nd Battalion of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
Yeah, they get a "twofer".
They will make perfect Democrat candidates.
