We just had a small earth quake in Ottawa.
That's because it's Ottawa, IL!!! (snort!) (where I was supposed to have grown up)
LOL. You just know that the Bushitler evil empire with the help of Karl Rove is working the whatever machines.
I spent a year one week in Fairfield, Illinois trying to get an RV repaired.
I suffered permanent emotional damage.
Moose stampede, nothing to see here, move along.
Wull... I spent the same amount of downtime in wunna them towns just north of North Dallas this past summer fer the same danged reason and with the same emotional victimization, dontcha know???
Well now... Now we can officially say "Ottawa Rocks," right?

And here's the link to the Canadian gov't web site for quakes.
It's completely overloaded right now.
BTW, You all have me LOL right now.
Thanks!
He's going to be here on the 6th.
:-(
Does it have anything to do with the recent election?
They won't always be mild. Eastern Canada has had some quite large earthquakes.
It's all San Andrea's fault.
Earthquake shakes Ottawa
An earthquake rattled Ottawa on Friday evening.
Residents reported the ground shook for about 30 seconds.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the "micro-sized" quake had a magnitude 2.99, then revised its intensity upward to 4.0.
It said the quake occurred at 8:30 p.m. and struck 15 kilometres underground with a preliminary epicentre near Clarence Creek, about 40 kilometres east of downtown Ottawa.
The shaking was felt in as far west as Arnprior, as far east as Hawkesbury and in Chelsea, Que., about 20 kilometres north of Ottawa.
"It started as a rumble, then shaking ... the whole house was shaking and the glasses were rattling," said Jeff Thiessen, who lives in Manor Park.
Floralove Katz was having dinner in her Centretown residence at Frank and Metcalfe streets.
"The whole house was shaking violently," she said. "It started around 8:40 and lasted a good two minutes ... at least a minute ... we were all holding on to the dishes."
Ellen Thompson, who lives in Manotick, said she was sitting on her waterbed watching television.
"There was a swell in the waterbed going on here. The ceiling fan .. was not on, but it was vibrating."
Robert Chaffers said he thought snow was sliding off the steel roof of his Chelsea home. "We could here it coming for several seconds before the house shook," he said, adding that it was "like a gigantic truck or something coming down the road."
There were no immediate reports of any damage or injury.
Recent reports put it as a 4.5 magnitude. I was in the basement when it rumbled through. I could hear it coming from one side and leaving the other. Lots of vibrarations as it passed through, but no damage or anything.
The SG-1 episode I was watching at the time had lots of underground rumbling from flesh eating bugs so it fit in quite well!
Why didn't you let us know that Canada was going to be testing nukes!!!! However I thought they would test them out west.
Have there been other quakes in your area before? Common here for Los Angeles.
Have you seen her lately? She has lost all of her weight and she's beautiful. Even more stunning than she was before.
"There was a swell in the waterbed going on here. The ceiling fan .. was not on, but it was vibrating."
Another romantic moment lost...
Glad you're ok, Fanfan ;)
